Learn how to assemble a bungee in this quick helpful video. For everything you need to make your own bungee cord, buy the Bungee DIY Kit: bit.ly/DIYBungee
Excellent video! Very clear. My problem is I don't know what thickness bungee cord to buy. I need it to secure a tarp on my RV and other similar tasks. Mostly securing tarps over things. What thickness cord? UV resistant type. Also what size hog rings that fit snugly around that bungee cord? Anyone know?
You can keep the cut ends from fraying by either wrapping it with tape and heating it with a match or use a suitable diameter of electrical shrinkwrap around the end, then also using a match.
This video would have been filmed using either our 1/4" or 5/16" bungee cord along with the matching hooks and hog rings. We do not offer hooks or hog rings for the 3/8" bungee at this time.
That is a very good point, it is important to wear eye protection when working with bungee cords. Please also make sure you are using a quality bungee in good condition. Worn cords should be disposed of and replaced.
Good clear instructions.
You make it seem so easy!
Thank you! Very useful.

Wow shott tutorial
I would be very careful with bungee cords. My friend had one come apart hit him in the eye and now his iris will not function as it should.
