Nothing can make you look hard Vick. Yes it’s me. Still binging your old videos. Trying to catch up. I’m so happy for you guys having a baby it’s not an easy thing to do. I was never blessed to have my own child, the traditional way.😊 we adopted, and we got a great kid. He’s 27 now and he’s such a great man, responsible, reliable, works hard, and honesty, which is very important and a bloke. So you got me talking like you guys, and I’m from the USA. But I love to hear you guys talk, and speak proper English. Have a great week. I’ll still be watching. Trying to catch up and leaving messages here and there. Congratulations again on your new baby. By the way, that bread looked delicious. You should post the recipe.
Just received my Holly The Cafe Boat tote here in Florida USA. Arrived in great shape and it’s beautiful, colorful and made. Thanks for the fast service. Jim
Omg, it's been a long time for me to have home made bread, 10 minutes out of the oven and mom would slice off a 1 inch slice and put homemade butter on it. It would melt immediately and the taste, I believe it's a taste of heaven....
HI-YA Really enjoy your videos. Reminds me of when I was young, starting a new family, and had a long life ahead of me. Enjoy your youth and family. It all goes by very quickly. The bread looked amazing.
Man, some good looking food comes out of y'all's kitchen; if it wasn't such a long drive between Kansas City and Holly's location it would be fun to stop by and support the endeavour ...
Love the Bags ❤️ Jo Vic.. They're so cool. The chicken broth looked fab too. And Vic.. fancy making Jo get the bag off that branch 🌿 🙈 Good exercise though, don't tell Jo I said that 🙈. All the best. x Jamie
I fully understand your love of the aga. I first lived with a coal fired Rayburn ( it was my job to riddle it, clear it out and re- light the fire. The ashes were chucked down the garden steps in the snow of 1962/3 winter. When the Rayburn died, we had a gas fired Aga to replace. I lived with that Aga for 34 years. It got serviced once every two years. Marvellous, it must count as part of the ballast? as they weigh a ton. I remember watching ours being built on site. Tried to order a tote bag but you are OUT OF STOCK😅👍👏👌🏽
The highlights, Jo's broth and bread. Only had lunch a couple of hours ago, but my mouth was dribbling for more. Vic's got Holly sorted by the sound of it, and dont worry about your hair cut, my darling wife cuts mine, and I'm down to about 10% of what I started with. Jo, you are glowing, and Vic is matching you every step of the way by the look of it. Professionals at their job, you'll be selling tote bags to the other side of the world soon. Excellent vlog, fine job. Couldn't quite read the cauli's price sticker, I like to be able to think, excellent price or, is that for only one? Many thanks, take care you two.
Absolutely love following your journey and congratulations on the impending new arrival. As a fellow male of some years old, I feel it my duty to point out to Victor that commenting on the oops moment during the haircut that was being conducted by the expectant mother of your child the importance of understanding the very fine line that sits between bravery and stupidity especially when she has a pair of scissors in her hand! I feel sure that you understand my concern for you :)
You will simply have to order more tote bags. I must have one! Who needs a Birkin when they can have a Holly tote? Thank you so much for your videos - I enjoy every one you put out and wish you all the best :)
I don't really drink but that cheese, gin and ale barn looked beautiful! Thank you for videoing it so wonderfully! Also, was Jo once a professional hairdresser because that trim is decent!
Great vlog, love the pushing bikes across a path that was meant to be there!! What an adventure! No stretching up for you anymore you need to be mindful of your ligaments and not over-stretching unless properly prepared Vic - look after her! More please, you make me smile😊
Hi guys, lovely catch-up vlog. Jo, you are looking quite the resplendent Mum-to-be. Sorry to hear about the upchucking but for some Mums that is what it is. Hopefully, there are some natural remedies that can be safe and tummy-settling. I am sure some of the friends on here will be able to advise you on that stuff. Just love those bags, what a great idea. Postage Downunder would kill the idea but they do look a really nice bag. That haircut... probably as good as my old Dad used to do. As the local Barber for so many years, he once put out a sign saying that he "couldn't cut hair any longer". He was inundated with callers wanting to know what the problem was. He would patiently explain to them that nothing was wrong, he could cut the hair shorter, he just couldn't cut it longer! Not sure if it was such a good marketing ploy but it got their attention LOL. He used to say that the difference between a good haircut and a not-so-good haircut was about a week. So let's have a check-up in a week and see how it looks ;) Stay safe and well.
Everyone is thinking it, so I'm just going to say it. That hair Vic makes you look really young. That's not a bad thing. You both look great. Have a great week 😊
Hi guys JO the way things are going you could probably sell locks of Vics mullet. That lunch looks right up my strata. Vic is so funny he looked camper than a row of tents on the back of Holly.
Jo, Vic, Another great Vlog. Glad your not being sick anymore Jo. You were both very brave trudging thru the undergrowth in search of your canal. Loved your shopping trip. Very entertaing and very watchable Vlog as always. I liked your Copyright comment. I recently edited a 30yo piece copied from a VHS tape converted to a digital file (for editing). There was a radio playing very low in the background. It never made it passed the RUclips. I ended doing exactly you Vic Did. Muted the original track and added non copyright music. All part of life's experience but its good fun. Your looking great Jo. Take care both.
Glad you'r over your sickness, now you can really enjoy your pregnancy, such an exciting time. Had a real job trying to find where to buy the tote bag. when I eventually did unfortunately they were sold out. Hope you get some more stock. Its a great idea. Keep safe
Why don’t you do more merchandise jo? It’d be great to see mugs with a picture of holly on, I’d definitely be a customer, take care the pair of you, stay safe and all the very best
Congratulations on your baby news ,love the chemistry between you two I have a snack bar on the beach but think the canal would be far more peaceful we have been doing it for 44 years but this is definitely our last as I am 73 and my husband is 80 so it’s time to pack it in .Good luck to you both I hope you keep on making your videos xx
We go to Curborough quite a lot as its local and a couple of friends have got shops there, ones a jewellers and the others an interiors shop. Great cafe there as well.....as well as Fradley Junction canalside cafe and pub which is literally a couple of miles away from there
Great vlog and we ordered a bag -we hope you don't get too swamped with orders :) Only thing that would make the shop work better would be by allowing payment by PayPal to save a few key strokes when ordering :)
Ah that's a great point, i'll look into adding that as an option. And thanks so much for ordering, hope you like the bag! We've nearly sold out of the stock we have so you got there in good time :-D
that's a nice loaf of bread. I started baking a few years ago and had mixed results. then I came across "Baking with Jack" on YT and started to knead and shape as per his instructions, now I get a beautiful loaf. be safe, have fun.
Tote Bag ordered, lot's of trips to your favourite place Jo the post office. Pleased to see you looking so much better.Great hair cut Victor, Jo saves you pounds.😉
Hi jo and vic been following your blogs since you started it so exciting to watch the videos of your travellers. We did have a boat which a 45foot but sadly had to get rid some years ago. But hey good news our new boat which has been built and primed ready for us to fitted all out. Your good at doing vic haircut well done.
Hi there growing family! :-) Perhaps your practicing for when the baby is born is why the bread turned out so awesome! Thanks so much for sharing and Vlog-ing your journey! Mark in Colorado
I’ve finally caught up and what a surprise! Congratulations! You two will be the best of parents;) This one also reminded me of the 'As Time Goes By" episode where Jean & Lionel get lost in the park, then wind up stumbling into the mud, and finally out, where the started! 😂👍 To Vic: Always remember that the difference between a bad haircut and a good haircut is two days. 😂
You both look really happy and healthy, Jo is really glowing now, just eat what your body tells you it needs, perhaps you could name the baby “Holly” as well.P.S Just ordered a bag for the wife.
Vic’s hair looks great. You have so many talents and skills. That was quite a ride back from the shops and you only just beat the rain. That’s what it’s been like here. Sunshine one minute and heavy rain the next. Has Vic really fixed the engine on Holly? It sounded okay, but he called it bodging. That’s sometimes the best way. I hadn’t realized you had an Aga. Very useful. Have you had your Covid jabs yet, or aren’t you old enough to qualify? You look very well Joanna xx
Jo, you look really good. Glad you're not getting as 😷 sick. If I was near I'd be knocking on the boat for that bread. I'm surprised it's not too hot with the Aga?
Thanks Bill! Yeah it does get hot in here sometimes but as the weather hasn't been too good lately it just warms the boat up to a nice temp. Thats the reason I cook everything at once though, so that we don't have the oven on for longer than it needs to be :-)
Another great video and a Friday treat. Not completely convinced that egg mayonnaise & gherkin on rye bread would be a best-seller on Holly !!!!!!!!! Stay safe!
Great idea with the bags, just ordered mine. I have been hoping that you would release a print or something, can’t wait for it to arrive. Glad you’re being to feel better Jo
Ah thanks for ordering Jenny! I'm glad you liked the bag, we had fun thinking of the logo and looking for the right suppliers! It will be with you next week! :-)
Wow that bread looks amazing. We were told this week that zero boat was built by XR&D this where ours has been build. Just waiting for the fit out to finish later this year xx
That gin shop looked impressive, too bad I'm not a big fan of gin, whisky yes, gin no. Dinner looked awesome! The bread came out perfect and the soup sounds perfect for the baby and a nice night in. Comfort food!
Hope your both well. I’m a mobile heavy plant engineer and would be more than happy to help you guys if your ever stuck with mechanical/engine issues. Either just advice or actual repairs. Free of course to help a good cause.
Looks very much like a Heritage diesel fired “Aga” They do double and single stoves that can also heat the whole boat through radiators too. I can recommend the Heritage Uno which is perfect size for a boat. I had one fitted 12 years ago, keeps the kettle warm all day!
Great vlog, well done on battling through the dense overgrown towpath. That bread looked amazing, I could see you both weakening to get a slice off to go with that broth.

I know it might seem simple to others but any chance of a detailed step by step of your broth and bread recipe looked delish.

Haha yeah the menu could get pretty alternative over the next few months :-D
Great idea with the bags, just ordered mine. I have been hoping that you would release a print or something, can’t wait for it to arrive. Glad you’re being to feel better Jo
