I think this video should include a disclaimer that trembling hands could be caused by other conditions such as essential tremor. Some other symptoms as well could be caused by other conditions.

I'm 58....I just checked off every one of these.
My great Aunt succumbed to PD 20 years ago, as did her grandfather.
I'm not buying into worry though.....and there WILL be more than one diagnosis/prognosis before I say anything to those I'm close with.
    What good would that do?
I'm already missing 90% of my lower intestines due to a GI Bleed out 8 years ago that nearly took my physical life and was a convergence of catastrophes in loosing my house, my horses, my marriage and my chances of retirement....
...I went and got another horse, moved into a run down farm house that barely passes the local county Board of Health standards, continued on with my band (paying gigs, but not the kind that pay regularly or at meaningful levels.
....and I spent 6yrs in the Navy.....went to the Persian Gulf even.
.....one night, while on an armed roving shipboard security watch, steaming underway just off the Philippines, someone had left one of the aft fire lockers door pinned open, and three 50' lengths of cotton jacketed fire hose coiled one on top of the other.....right on the deck where they shouldn't have EVER been left......my exit from the interior breezeway to the weather decks saw to it that I had ZERO night vision once topside during darken ship conditions.
I tripped and took the full weight of the fall on the left side of my head, hearing a sickening Crack like the sound thar a baseball bat makes when a major league baseball player slugs away and it solidly connects with a baseball.
I saw a white flash when I hit.
....I was 23 at the time.
Young enough to think that the comments of untrained laymen saying "I think you're going to be fine" were reasonable.....but I did go see the Doc, to my credit.
What I didn't count on was that they'd loose my military medical record, so 'proving' my case was going to be IMPOSSIBLE without that corroborated record.....
To this day. 33 years later. TMJ plagues me because the jaw joint is a permanently marred part of my anatomy.
Lack of a military med record (searched the Naval Personnel Records Center in New Orleans) means that on veterans day, I can go to the VA and get a coffee and find a brother and/or sister to relate to..... but I have to BUY the coffee.
    No one cares.....
    They really don't
My family is nonexistent, and I just sit here typing and hoping that my last 10 minutes here on Earth lmake it worth the fight and the costly clean up
What's to hope for when hope is as hollow as fear, and twice as impracticable.
My whole life has been a poor man's folly......but I really did, and will, try....even though 60 approaches and there's just the struggle to keep me occupied and 'productive'
I feel that PD would be in keeping the life motif that seems to be my experience....
....speaking of which, the motif of hearing someone scold me for sulking and mentioning these things should be rounding the bend just about any moment now.
Oh well, maybe better luck next time around....
But we all know it's one ride per customer.
*enjoy your memorial weekend bar-b-ques and relaxation time.......have a burger and a beer for me, if you would.....the lack of a couple feet of intestinal tract says beer is off the menu....or more aptly......it could be on the menu, but it would probably be the last time ever.
........a couple of cold brews sounds even better now than they ever have.
    * Next time you have the opportunity to tell someone you care.....do it, please. Or better yet.....
Show them that you do in your ordinary daily actions......talk to them.
Peace to all who took the time to read my micro-memoir, and also to those who didn't or couldn't.
    Love is the answer....
......it always has been, even before the question was ever posed.

I've been seeing a neuro for the better part of a year now and we're still trying to figure out what is wrong with me. Back in 2019 I tested positive for ANA (auto immune antibodies). I started to get double vision when I was 45 and have needed rx glasses ever since. I still have trouble with spots in my left eye. My right side is affected mostly, but I have some symptoms on my left side as well. My legs and right arm jerk when I relaxe in a prone position. It occurs mostly in bed when I lay down to sleep. I've had a sleep study done and now need a cpap but it was recorded during my study that my legs jerk a lot during sleep as well. I have numbness, weakness and pain in my hands, arms and legs. My right foot is perpetually swollen. I've suffered with migraines for years. My recent MRIs showed some severe degeneration of my C4 to C7 vertebrae win stenosis in canal and foramina and an issue in the L3-L4 region where there is a protruding disc touching the L4 traverse nerve root. A few months ago, I've developed a head tremor. It persists until this day. I can sometimes control it but it comes back. I wake up in the morning stiff as a board and it takes a long time to be able to grab things with my hands. I feel pain and discomfort and I drop things frequently. Very clumsy. I have a f/u appt with my neuro in early Feb. Hopefully he can help me out more to try and figure out what this is.

Sounds pretty familiar ,my hands are going bad ,bummer man ,I have grown attached to them .I also have stenosis and believe that the nerve in the spine is pinching and making my hands not work very well .That's my hope .I think they can fix that .3 months ago I started eating strictly organic ,it helped my headaches ,burning in my hands and feet ,my skin stopped burning ,my intestines stopped feeling raw ,I was seeing a spider for ten years when I would wake up ,that also disappeared ,my anxiety feels better ,I feel calmer .It did not help with my nerve pain in back ,that's pretty bad .Also I'm broke 😊 but it's worth it .I got some kinda nerve disorder not sure what it is but gummies help the shaking which is not as bad for me it seems so far ,hope it don't go there to bad ,just a little bit sucks ,anyway hope this helps .There is a lot of man-made diseases out there .❤

To all the teens asking of hand shaking is possible think about your medications you are on. Especially any medication for ADHD or if you drink caffeinated drinks. (High rev coffee, monster energy drinks, red bull ect).
You are most likely fine and just worrying which anxiety alone could cause this. It is extremely rare if you are a teen you have this and should look at your life style and meditation/supplements.

38 years old with five signs...have noticed small but significant changes to my body. My right ring finger tip has been feeling numb lately, once a day I catch myself tripping over my feet momentarily, and lately have developed this benign but frightening moment where it feels as if I'm rocking back and forth altho I'm perfectly sitting still. I sometimes also have to knowingly swing my arms when I am walking or I feel as if they want to just hang by my sides, motionless.

Because my hands hurt and it won’t stop shaking if I am drawing something (30m-2 hours long). It will stop eventually if I make it rest, but I don’t really know what to do. That's not a tremor, that's a nervous tick. A tremor is where a muscle fiber vibrates uncontrollably usually in the legs or arms. A tick disorder would cause someone to do that when they are playing games, due to the stress or intensity of the situation which is common when playing games. It's really nothing to worry about other than he'll have to be aware of it and make himself not do it. In other words what he is doing is voluntary, not involuntary. Muscle fasiculations (tremors or twitches) are involuntary.

Me--watching this for the second time not realizing I just watched it a few minutes ago!?!? Left arm and hand trembled so strongly today I had to hold it still with my right hand. This was while I was waiting on cashier to return my change. I had heard long ago that a person looses muscle between the thumb and index finger, is this true?
I'm trying to decide if my 'problems' are dementia or something else like Parkinson's. I have trouble remembering how to spell simple words, and the memory loss is getting worse. I got so frustrated today trying to remember a girl's name that we had mentioned so many times in the last 2 weeks. I know it's a simple name, and I know it contains only four letters, but can't remember it. Was too embarrassed to ask anyone. And other things that greatly concern me. I had several bouts of dizziness, even while lying down with eyes shut, it doesn't last long. Felt strange yesterday, not bad, but different. Several people at church ask if I was ok, I just wasn't talking, after church I just left, and I always stick around talking to folks. But I felt ok, but different. It was a strange feeling, like being withdrawn, not belonging, but still ok, wasn't upset, mad just indifferent, nothing really mattered.

I’m only 28, but sometimes, when I stand up, I go blind in my left eye for a couple minutes and get lightheaded and dizzy, which is a sign of low blood pressure. However I can also experience dizziness when I cough; my arms cramp up and I can see blood cells swimming in my vision, which are signs of high blood pressure, so I can’t be sure the low blood pressure is a symptom of PD and not simply of something else which fluctuates my blood pressure to extremes. I also lose my balance far more frequently now than I ever have, suffer from depression and anxiety, sweat too much, suffer from insomnia at times, experience unexpected movements during sleep, and today experienced tremors in my left hand. Might be time to talk to a doctor.
