As children we grew up crying alongside films like these with our Mother who started the tears first. I only got as far as 2.42 and paused before I took over where my Mother left off some 55 odd years or so later.

@King Royal I figured he was more like his father and picked up the accent from him, being of aristocratic family. That and the suspension of disbelief. It was 1936 after all.
This has been my favorite movie, of all time. It gives me so much joy and I hope that I will have another chance to watch it again, someday down the road, in my lifetime.
As an "Ancient" I absolutely love technology, especially when it allows me to see such past, great, original talents instantly at the touch of a screen. Thank you.

This is such a wonderful story I have watched it many times and I usually do not watch any movie twice. Thank you Pizza Flix, you are wonderful as well for all the movies you share with us bless you.
Unfortunately it is true they can't make movies like this anymore, we need to preserve these movies for future generations to see. I hope the national archives and the film industry preserve these films always great film.
Such a good movie! All good actors and a plot full of love. It warms the heart. What a world we have today...! Perhaps we can return to some of the good parts....
Thank you PizzaFlix! I lost my mother this year and watching old movies with her was my favorite past-time. Today I felt close to her again as I watched this on your channel. God bless you!
I have heard about this movie but never got the chance to watch it until today and so worth watching, very moving with the innocence attached to it. All great actors. Thanks very much.
Pizza Flix oh boy, I cried through the ENTIRE movie. Each scene was more moving, loving, and innocent with little Ceddie than I could bear. This was just a beautiful movie worthy for all to see and learn from, if only, if only, we can keep our hearts open long enough to learn all that we can from sweet Ceddie and his Dearest.
This was a movie that I would catch a few scenes of over the years on t.v. It finally all came together for me. Thank you so much for posting Mr. or Ms. PizzaFlix!
If you have never had the chance see Freddy Bartholomew, Spencer Tracy, Lionel Barrymore and Micky Rooney in Captains Courageous. One of the greatest movies of all time. I must warn you though, it's a real tear jerker.
👍👌👏 Simply fantastic! Nevertheless: My all time favourite is the "newer" movie with Ricky Schroeder as Ceddie respectively Lord Fauntleroy and Sir Alec Guinness as Earl Dorincourt. Thanks a lot for uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health.
What a great movie! Thank you. I remember seeing it on television when I was a child, but it takes an adult to appreciate the simple themes of love, kindness, forgiveness, and reconciliation. As long as there is a God, these themes will always be important.
A Good story and a wonderful telling by some of the world's exceptional story-tellers. The garbage we are force fed today is 95% just that ! and does little to entertain, much less educate or reaffirm our faith in each other, our basic societal standards or even the real world . . . which is deteriorating around us.

A great movie, I have watched many times. Its too bad some of it has been lost. I first saw this movie in the late 50s on a public station and them again on a commercial station where is was cut so they could get in all of their commercials, butt heads. After that the scenes they cut were gone. Does anyone know of a full version ? It would include a scene where the Earl and Ceddie were out riding togeather and some scenes with the mother sewing to make money.
I totally agree with you on this inquiry of the full movie. Thanks for letting us all know there was still much more to be seen. I hope they can meet with your requirement. It would prompt us all to watch it again with continuous enjoyment.
Absolutely a fantastic film old values which the world 🌎 at present is truly lacking as the new movies out there are completely filled with pure Brutally ,see, and volience, and needs time and time again special effects to keep the movie on track a load of pure rubbish is been made ,but the older movies had one thinking 🤔
A lovely movie; most nostalgic. Unfortunately, this is a very sugar coated version of the upper classes. They were never so gracious, generous, or philanthropic to anyone but themselves.

How could ANYONE give a 'thumbs-down' to this wonderful and charming movie. It's one I can watch over and over and over. Thanks for a great post.

Doesn’t that make you 80 or 70 years old?
They just don’t make movies like this very much anymore… And if only children could still be raised so well still nowadays ‼️❣️♥️
Amen to that!
That boy was so charming. I didn't think I'd like or finish the movie but I did and it was a great ending.
Absolutely wonderful movie!...
I just Loved it. Thank you for sharing
A real old classic. Thank you for posting this!
Mickey Rooney when he was a kid playing the shoeshine boy. Great movie.

Wonderful! I love Freddie Bartholomew! Thank you so much!
Dolores Costello, who plays the mother here, was the wife of John Barrymore and the grandmother of Drew Barrymore.
Thanks for that detail!
What a nice piece of information. Thanks for sharing that.

I love facts like that! Thanks😊
now if only people everywhere were like the little lad and mother, what a caring world we would have, instead of what it is!
Henry Stephenson was the father of my dreams. I adored the man. Every role. Every word, I took as my own.
Stephenson later played Mr. Brownslow in 'Oliver Twist"(1948).
I loved this movie a lot.
Definitely a favorite!
What a great picture 😉
Thank you 🤩🤩🤩💖💖
I just can not help myself ... I must watch it again.
they can have all the special effects and technology they like , but they could never make films like this today ..

I doubt that anyone watching doesn't know that this is a highly idealized rendition of the british aristos.
