These videos have struck a chord with the Broadway lover in me, and the classic VeggieTales fan in me. Little Shop of Horrors content mixing with classic VeggieTales? I love it!!! I'm obsessed.
If Big Idea still used softimage, this would be the theatrical quality that they would produce for future VeggieTales releases. This is superior work, and I must applaud you for your efforts. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

It's got some of the beats down, but besides the lack of blood (not that you'd get much of that aside from maybe tomato juice), it only really starts going into Little Shop of Horrors at around the climax, when the Mother Weed shows up and pulls a Don't Feed the Plants. Which would be ironic, considering they're ALL plants.
Now, I'm not much of a Broadway fan, but I love Veggietales. And this animation is *so high quality*, more so than the original Veggietales ever was. This animation got me so invested in whatever story was being told, and it makes me kinda wish Veggietales did an episode that was very Broadway-esque with a deeper storyline that was like "It's a Meaningful Life" level. Amazing work 👏👏👏 I'd toss roses if I could 🌹🌹🌹
I always loved the original muscial, I can't say I ever expected to see it rendered like this but I'm thrilled to see it in action. Excellent work as always!

i really want to see how gourd handles a larryboy animation, like what with how dynamically and fluidly he animates the veggies already i can imagine it'd look pretty stellar

We're over halfway through the plot, and there's only so many Weird Al songs to pick for the plot's next move. Anyway, as for the video itself, Mr. Nezzer strangely works with Mushnik's voice. And those...well, they aren't really shoulder movements since they don't really have shoulders, but that movement is hypnotizing in terms of its appeal. Hope to hear more from this channel soon, I've yet to be disappointed by a single vid.

This may sound like quite the undertaking... but why don't you try to animate a combination of the plots of the original Little Shop of Horrors movie with the later movie adaptation from the late 80s?
