I watch ALOT of Heavy Equipment videos and you are right about unshared knowledge is lost knowledge! A book can tell you how to do a thing but being shown how to do a thing is PRICELESS! I'm the kinda fella that can read about it in a book all day but until I get my hands on it that's when everything clicks! THANK YOU SIR FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE!

So...engineer and CNC shop owner here. Former racer, engine builder, and designed/cut parts for race engine applications. You sir are someone I admire. I know a seasoned wrench when I see one. One thing I teach to the younger vo-tech kids is there is no school that teaches experience.......other than someone with that experience, and you better be taking notes! A piece of paper means dick to me. You do a good job of verbally hitting the hot topics but otherwise just showing it. The major advice I give to the younger ones (I'm not even old yet) is TAKE YOUR TIME....I had literally mostly completed a V twin DOHC engine when my brain realized I put a piston in backwards. Had I spun that engine, it would have hurt financially.

Rob, these are the type of tutorial video we like, you couldn’t do enough off them.
A step by step on repair to Tim’s fender on 389 would be great to see step by step.
This is a great format, really catches my interest, many will agree I’m sure.

Instead of painting head gaskets etc with gold spray paint I would highly recommend trying that aluminized silver spray paint like some transmission shops used to paint the exterior of transmission cases and or the paint some junkyards have painted used transmissions with. The stuff has a high amount of aluminum particulate in the paint (and far more than gold paint) I first learned about using that aluminized spray paint from a buddy of mine who raced Top Fuel Harley and also land speed raced. He would spay a medium wet coat on paint on the cylinder jug and cylinder head solely as a head gasket when serving the engine on his bikes between runs. I have been using aluminized spray paint on head and intake gaskets for the last 20 years

If it wasn't for mechanics the CEO couldn't get to work. You couldn't get to work. Doctors couldn't get to work so mechanics need a pay increase. A SERIOUS pay increase.

And a load of British and German tools. We have tools for every job and if we haven't we make them. We do Engines up and repair trucks, tractors and farm machinery.
