The Westland Heliport London

The lack of interest for civil helicopter operations in the UK leads to Westland planing, financing and building the first UK heliport. Situated on the banks of the Thames at Battersea in London, this is a record of the following the construction through to the opening ceremony by Mr John Hay MP in 1959.
