This was more than just the one topic, and as such the comments on Columbia University's student's protest of ISR doing a genocide were underwhelming.
It was less accusatory than I expected, but still intimated that there is a systemic anti-Semitism within protesting the way Netanyahu has conducted ISR policy over the last 20years. If there is a protestation of ISR that lists, this, that, and the other thing then examine exactly how Netanyahu has used the War on Terror to slowly, systemically instill more, and more problems among the two peoples one nation.
The problems there and how to treat them, and whether people could entreat with one another used to be more manageable in ~1994, the assassination of Rabin was by a Right-wing Israeli, and then we (The West, US) allowed that wing to run ISR since. We needed to step in and reign in the more extreme govt, but we went w/ GWOT and this is a result.
These protests are Americans recognizing the ill effects of the past 25years. This is a result of the 10yo in 1995 now being the instructors/professors of Gens Z, and A. Showing them the world that the Boomers left us and how it does not fit the Promise of childhood rhetoric. It is the "I have been to the mountain top" if we go Left, if we go Right. This may sound like it is speculative, but that is what the 60s were, there was no data, then... they hypothesized based on expected human reaction and it was wrong. Since then there are ridiculously numerous studies about human behavior that we did not actually have before, now we can predict... it is still on humans (who change their minds), but there is nearly infinite more knowledge since ~1997 and the ubiquitous access to the internet. People just need to choose to access correct information instead of seeing who Andrew Garfield may be dating now.
Could what he says on the floor be considered lying to Congress? It’s a crime even when not under oath.

Fed up w/ what, why, when, where, how? The police are more funded than ever, and in fact we are building massive training centers for global law enforcement to take part in paramilitary drills in urban settings (coming to a town near you). And unless it's a private college, it's their Constitutional right to protest. But something tells me Yours is the only free speech you really care about.

Does that major example ring a bell? Have you read anything about the proportion of city budgets going specifically toward police departments? It’s been an issue since 9-11.

All students Must have the right to protest without disruption from any law enforcement agencies and so quote "intelligence agencies" !!
That is not how protest is protected. Assemble, associate, speak... that's it. You still do not have a right to bar entry, or damage property or assault another person... those are different laws. I'm not cool w/ Unis forcing groups to have to get a permit to protest at a specified spot on certain day, that is too restrictive.
If students were in the quad (allowing for other s to go to class) and playing drums while one had a bullhorn saying "stop Murdering civilians in Gaza and the West Bank. Free Palestine. Gaza is an apartheid State. Food is not a weapon. Netanyahu is a criminal. Sign our petition." I'm cool w/ that.
But that one that says "Jews something something" that is crossing into hate, it is saying ALL Jews, not ISR or certain politicians, IDF units... and so you have to stop that one, say no.
If there is someone who throws a brick at a window you need to get that person out of your group, report them as not affiliated.
If a few students daisy chain in front of a door, you need to make certain that there is still a feasible path inside, move them 5' in front of the door.
That is Protest Organization, a skill that this group and Extinction Rebellion have lost. MLK and Malcom X had teams, it was not just their presence, it was not any person who saw the protest and joined up, it was organized.
This is the type of behavior championed by the Democrat party for the past 4 years.
