Great comparison also starring a Huckberry jacket, I think, which goes with everything. The Bullet is a better profile for me and looks a bit trimmer for city wear or to use as a packing cube for travel. Strong start for 2025, keep up the good work.
I have the Evergoods CPL16 and CTB26 in the brown waxed canvas, and the GoRuck 32L Kitbag and 21L M23 in black waxed canvas. Love them all, but find myself using the Evergoods more often. I feel more rough and tumble with the GoRuck, but more 19th century explorer with the Evergoods. Hope that makes sense.
I have wanted to get a bullet in waxed canvas for a while now but have bought other bags instead. However, I prefer to look of the Evergoods waxed canvas and the useable front pocket on the CPL16, in my opinion, give it the edge over the bullet. If I was to get a small EDC it would be the Evergoods bag.
😂 I am in with the CPL. I have the Phoenix 2 as my EDC. Its deep winter where I am based which has given me pause in breakin my Griffin 2 brown. Not sure how the wax responds in the winter
Good point...problem is I'm biased towards GORUCK and I try to do my best to be objective. In this case I think the EVERGOODS makes a stronger feature case...but in the end my personal preference is the Bullet.

I was able to pick up the Olive Heritage Laptop Bullet a few months ago. I absolutely love it and its my EDC go to since. 26L Heritage GR1 has been relegated to One Bag travel duty. For me the Bullet/GR1 have a better profile than the CPLs. Not to take anything away from Evergoods, just my preference. Love the Cap1L and 2L and use them in my EDC. The Heritage Bullet in Olive is just gorgeous.
I just thought about a video you can make... I have a camera and I wonder what is the best configuration to stuff a.... insert inserts/cubes options here... and pros/cons for it in diferent bags...
Great video! It’s a little bit “function vs form” here. I’d personally favour the Bullet - It just looks cleaner and better on the back (and the olive/leather contrast is the best in the business). But can definitely see the appeal of the Evergoods if I purely wanted the most convenient “features” - Although even then…. Not much in it.

SCARS is a GORUCK thing. They only repair and modify GORUCK bags.
