Damn, I remember when I was obsessed with Daft Punk in 2010 as an 8th Grader. Came upon this song and fell in love. Even though it isn't Daft Punk, I love how chill it sounds. Crazy to think that here I am 7 years later.

@IgottheBlues818 "Yesterday" by The Beatles used a chord progression consisting of 3 chords the entire song, and is considered one of their greatest songs. It doesn't matter how many notes a song has, the structure and heart going into the song is what matters. And I don't know why people think the OST is a separate album, it's a musical score for a movie. It's supposed to match the film, not be it's own independent album. :/

@NACHOMUZIC What do you mean? They had an album in 2005 and are doing the soundtrack for Tron Legacy. So yes, they still make songs.

Saw the original Tron and the movie and score was amazing. Daft Punk will really overdo themselves in this flick. Props to Daft Punk. All the house lovers, etc have been bashing them these last couple of years because they haven't been creating new music. But the time has come for them to sit at the throne once again.

It dosent matter what anybody says about Daft Punk in the negative aspect. As a proven fact they are epic. Michael Jackson's album "Thriller" made American Records going multi platnum over 20 odd years, selling over 110 Million copies.
on the other hand Daft Punks first album "Discovery" went multi Diamond selling over 270 million copies worldwide in only three years time.
Not saying Jackson has no tallent, just pointing out that there are people better than him at making music.

@Joetheclash the kick is classic Daft Punk but your right about the hats theyre pretty shit. It may seem boring though cause apparently this is extended from a 1:30 minute track which was made primarily for a movie, not for the dance floor, unless of course it isnt Daft Punk.

Why of course not they cant die..i was waiting for them to somehow make another appearance later on after that scene but instead i just had to settle for the beautiful Finale..

I believe the production of the movie has got a serious problem here , there is a lack of control or i dont know what. There wont be an official release until the movie comes out so we cant be sure it's DP, but it sounds too much like DP, and its good, great production and all. Maybe it's a unfinished track or a temp track because this one and the other called "Synopsis" is definetely DP.

@UrbanPTSD Most /good/ techno music, even if it does repeat a riff or set of measures for the entirety of the song, will at least build onto it as the music progresses, rather than playing the same four measures copypasted exactly as they are for 5 minutes straight with one minute of change slapped in the middle. Daft Punk is usually pretty good at doing this.
Most good techno music will also generally be equalized in a manner that does not hurt the listener's ears.
