Good evening thank you for your video we just purchased the graph tech 7000. The salesman came out to show me how to use it but he just raced through the instructions. So like you I will be learning as I'm going. A lot of our signage is for a hospital that I work at. Thank you for your video I will be watching more of them I'm sure
I also just bought a ce7000 at a price of IDR 28,000,000 Indonesia. There are many menus that I still don't understand. Because the video instructions from graphtec are not very complete lol
Thanks, you have given the big use of the detail regarding the systematic use of this machine which use to make the work for the new user more convenient, I am the first time user of this this machine and first time I am going to purchase it after seeing a lot of other machine makers, and at last, I decided to purchase the Graphtec ce7000 60 and Graphtec ce7000 130 machine to open my new part of the business concern, I am very thankful for the help given by your side. Thanks, Regards, Jitesh Sharma (India)
I’ve had a Graphtec Q60 for years. I know I need to think about getting a new one at some point. I totally agree with you-the menu is weird. I think the Q60 menu is a bit “less weird”. But your video helped me solve my problem of “what am I going to get when my Q60 bites the dust?” I know the CE7000 would be an easy transition for me. And cutting right from Illustrator is a real plus. Very informative video for me - thank you!
I have the older 15in desktop model, best investment I’ve ever made. Bought it in 2019 and it’s my first vinyl cutter. What made me buy it was the illustrator plugin because I use illustrator.
Thanks! That was very helpful. appreciate your videos. I just purchased the Graphtec CE7000. Will you be reviewing how to adjust blade in future video? I tried to cut for the first time and it keeps cutting through the vinyl and I haven't turned it on again since, lol If you could review how to best adjust blade that would be helpful, Thanks!.
Yes i will. That was a little challenging. I’ll make a video. Screw it all the way on at the bottom and adjust it from the top. It has to be out ever so slightly to the point where you almost can’t see the tip of the blade when you look at it from the side.
What about 2.0 mm styrene sheet for model making? Evergreen Scale Models sells styrene sheets in various thicknesses and can be purchased at Hobby Lobby.
I got the graphtec ce7000 thanks to your review. I am so grateful for your video. I followed your steps. I opened a logo on illustrator and then went to cutting master 4 and clicked cut/plot but this a window pops up stating "no cuttable object with current setting"? Can you tell me what I am missing?
Thank you, this video cleared some questions up and helped me finish setting things up! Graphic rules btw! I've used it both professionally and personally. =)
Gotta break it down and show the difficulties that i had getting it going so you don’t have these issues. More to come no worries. Few things I didn’t explain because ai didn’t want the video to be too long.
So I have a question, I just got this machine and for the life of me I can't figure out why it's not cutting the whole project, I specified the roll width and then how many copies I wanted, everything looks fine in the preview window inside of cutting master but when I hit Output it only cuts about 80% of the job and then it stops. I've wasted soo much vinyl now :-(
My graphtec 7000-60 is cutting smaller than the size I have set my design. For example, I want to cut a 14.25 inch diameter design and it cut 12.5 inches. Do you know what setting I may have missed? Thanks so much!
No. I think you have to purchase a wireless dongle to make it wireless. Most devices have a wireless usb dongle on the inside. Cameos have them. They live behind a door you can access with a screwdriver.
Wow that thing is nice, thx for info!! Unfortunately it’s too pricey for me . Has anyone used a US Cutter as an in between with Graphtec and the cameo??
Do you happen to know when the cutter shows "load media" what am I doing wrong? I have added the vinyl and ready to cut. But it keeps showing "load media"
Did you figure this out? I work for a screen printing company and we just got this machine and can't get past the Load Media issue. Is it because the wrong USB port was selected on the machine control panel?
This question isn't about the graphtec but DTG. Any update on the pretreat process? Are you still using the Wagner or the Viper Mini? What pretreat have you seen worked the best? Also, what's been the washabilty of the garments since you printed them?
Still using the Wagner. I just don’t have the time at the moment to do all the testing in the viper mini to justify the set up and breakdown with each use. On thing is for sure though, when I get around to It I’m confident that it will give me more consistent results when printing. The definite height with each spray can guarantee that. As for the shirts that I’ve made. They are lasting just fine.
@@adubbproductions I'm thinking about getting the Viper mini or a box pretreat machine but I'm tossed up. The Viper seems consistent and convenient but the price is ridiculous for what it is. Lol. If it was $500 cool but $1500 is insane but compared to a box is cheap i guess. The box im looking at is $4k+ but I don't want to deal with a bunch of added maintenance and space taken up and the price is the price. The Wagner is cheap, a bit messy, and isn't as consistent but gets the job done. It has been used forever by most so you have to try it
@@adubbproductions yeah in master cutter just above where you enter size of image is the bit you put your roll width and length, or if you are using a sheet and it's size
Cameo IS made by Graphtec. I can tell you don't have very much experience working with vinyl cutting. The CE series is very simple to use. It has the same settings as a Cameo. Just different menus.
I’ve never tried it but I’m pretty sure you can make anything wireless with a dongle. Just beware when you introduce a wireless dongle that’s another layer of complication and possible things that could go wrong so O think that’s why they don’t have one attached. They are inexpensive and just plug and play. Wireless dongle. maybe I’ll try it and make a video.

@@adubbproductions was about to purchase this week but this comment has made have second thoughts. I've been using the cameo plus for around 2 years and need an upgrade due to getting much busier. Will I regret the purchase? Please let me know what you think. Thanks man
I don’t have the cutters you bought, I bought a SC2 from USCutters. It’s bigger (34”), as fast, less expensive (much cheaper), and easier to use even if I have to transfer my files to their software before I cut. When it comes to working efficiently, I use the K.I.S.S. method (Keep It Simple Stupid). Just because it’s ridiculously expensive doesn’t mean is better or the best, it just means it’s over done. My cutter paid for itself in a matter of weeks, not months or years. Enjoy!
@@ClownfishDepot Yes and no. USCutter's does not support is as that, but the SC2 can do trace cutouts,, you just have to manually register the registration marks with the built in laser pointer. It isn't 100% perfect, but might be good enough for your use. I use it to cut clock faces and it seems to work fine for simply cutouts with a boarder.

Yea. It’s not easy to understand at all. It’s like they have a secret club and don’t want anyone to join.
It was a learning curve for sure. It can seem intimidating trying to operate, but you’ll be happy with it. I recommend it.

Once Graphtecs are set up they are a doddle to use. I'm on my second one since 1991. Daily use since then. Tough as nails.

24" roll
