Does it look like I'm the Ahmed that died on the beach? I'm not the only Ahmed in the world. Do you know how long those push ups were going for and how tired I was before doing pull ups, sit ups, and dips...
I'm amazed at how long ago the last comments were posted... How has this not even reached 1 million views... People are MAD!!! HONESTLY, MAD, CRAZY, IGNORANT!
This is so sick man. I really hope this is not just a temporary come back. The world needs people like Lowkey. Let's push this and Ahmed as far as we can.
i've always wished to live at the time where tupac was still alive, so living at the time where lowkey was still making music is as satisfying to me!!!
This is such an underrated track. Even just the words "so fear not", that he repeats to say that there is hardship in dislocation and not belonging, but there is also the potential for greatness, of substance, to rise out of a diaspora and serve as role models for people who may feel lost or are actively being misled by others... So deep!
Well said. "So fear not" encapsulates the attitude of uncertainty many children of diaspora have. It gives hope and sometimes, hope is enough to allow someone to push forward through difficult times. So fear not. This line inspires me to become the role model you have described. People who grew up just like me, sons of immigrant taxi drivers, are on the streets selling coke while I'm at university. And my heart genuinely goes out to them, their lives are in a choke hold and they're lost to hopelessness. So much potential but all gone to waste. The scariest part is I could have been exactly like them. I've been exposed to drugs enough to know I could succumb to evil temptations. I know myself well enough to see my capacity for doing bad. I've been hurt enough to let out my anger on the world. There is no difference between me, who's going to secure a high paying job and ascend from working class to middle class, and the thug on the street. We are all the same. We come from the same struggle. I was just privileged enough to not fall victim like they did. For this reason I am extremely motivated to make the most of the life I've been blessed with cos I know how different it could've been. I am forever grateful for the life I have. "Those who saw their traces in the faces of the massacred" Thanks for letting me vent haha
I've never come across a more genuine music video in my life. I try to make people smile wherever I go and this transformation in people's faces is what I live for. It takes no effort to be a good person.
Everytime I hear a Lowkey track I get chills down my spine.. Lowkey has always been my favourite MC from the UK and when the scene is flooded with bullshit, his message is needed more than ever!
Lowkey helped to empower me, Common showed me the light. Kweli showed me that there's true value in sacrifice. Dilla made me think twice so now you see I’m nice. Opened up my eyes after black thought every night. When I look at Will.I.Am I see money comes with a price. So any way you look at it... Hip Hop saved my life.
This song is really beautiful. The children of diaspora are our brothers and we should help them feel empowered and prosperous in our country, regardless of where they are from or what their religion is. Their stories are so rich and we could learn so much if we just listened.
Lowkey you represent so many of us, the oppressed, the immigrant, the thinker, my fam left behind, Shokran habibi, you made a difference in my darkest hours. In sha Allah you can do a shout out to my beloved friends that died in Christchurch New Zealand mosque attack. Big love and respect my brother ❣️
This is real hip-hop. I can’t get enough of the melody of this tune. This is top quality. Amazing lyrics too. It’s sad man don’t get the respect he deserves.
Why there isnt many views on this video is because Lowkey says himself he doesnt wanna brand himself. The big corporations dont want to spread the good word and if you dont give your soul to them and let them corrupt you and control you they wont give anything to you. Lowkey is pure. Pure epicness. Pure rap. Pure music. A pure person with a masterpiece of a brain. Every sentence he creates gives me inspiration.
A very simple but extremely powerful visual. Made me smile 1st looking at the people in it smile and in seconds I got into the beat and drowned with mai Khalils humming, was saddened and tearing. Later it got me tearing while I'm smiling. Gotta play it the 2nd time to be attentive to the lyrics
There's magic in his Rhyme. Where's it come from? Is it the pain inside from oppression depression or love and hope. God? Maybe it's indefinable inspiration. Maybe even he can't tell you. Bless you brother. You take our mind to elevated places
This is a middle finger to cultural imperialism. I’ve always felt disgusted by foreigners who have self-hate ... especially people who give an English “normal” name to a child out of fear. This is better than any hip-hop track on TV in the last 20 years. Real hip-hop!
If only everyone could smile alot more at one another in the street, shops, parks or wherever. Imagine how much more connected we could all be rather than fear or be weary of each other all the time and constantly keeping ourselves to ourselves, disconnected or lost in our headphones or connected more to our mobile devices and staring at our screens as that seems so much like the safer options these days. Just for a few split seconds drop that barrier just enough to break that ice or put others at ease enough to respond back with a smile. That then could lead to conversations, new friendships, potential relationships or just make someone's day a much better and more uplifted one....Yet another lovely Low-key track that I've discovered later on with an equally lovely and uplifting video just showing humanity at it's most beautiful....
Lowkey man. Always giving me the goosebumps and the tears. I am a child of diaspora. God Bless us all. God free us all. God save us all. God help those who are suffering.
Un idea bellissima in questo video ...la serietà ferma e rigida dell'espressione che si trasforma in un caldo accogliente sorriso!!!!! Cambia tutto in pochi istanti!!!!👍❤
bless god for this man, bringing rap back to how it should be, telling story's of things that are actualy happening in this world, things that actualy matter!!! get the goosebumps of this, massive respect for Lowkey anytime :D
Change has always come by sacrificing and fight. most of us defiantly don't have this, because it's been destroyed by our environment and so we continue come comment on world events until we are forced to fight.
Artists like Lowkey have a transcending spirit, these human being are sent to this earth to carry a message, spread it then leave. Many great beings have entered this earth and Lowkey is one of them to me. Can't wait to see you at the in Manchester this July!! Oneness.
Every single person on earth has their own story as rich as any film or book you've seen or read.
mad ting you're here
Indeed we all do ;)
You have impeccable taste in music danbull!

My name is Ahmed and I'm in this video with the blue and orange t-shirt. Big up my brother Lowkey!
Peace and love from the USA!
Thought you died in his last song? This needs explaining. At 1m30s you're also slacking when the rest are doing push-ups
Does it look like I'm the Ahmed that died on the beach? I'm not the only Ahmed in the world. Do you know how long those push ups were going for and how tired I was before doing pull ups, sit ups, and dips...
+JeL101086 you're not funny, just an idiot.

How INFECTIOUS is a SMILE? Humanity WINS everytime!
Beautiful, Lowkey is something else. This is the pinnacle of Purposeful art.

*One of the few not corrupted by the industry"
Immortal Technique

A bit of an ignorant comment, there are loads of independent artists that are not corrupted, pick any on #GlobalFaction

As part of the Irish diaspora as a result of the same imperialism, I salute you, peace. Never bow.
Shouts to Mai Khalil an underrated gem. Everytime her and Lowkey are together magic happens.
Truth.
💯 x
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
We never bow to the queen
The reason lowkey has got everyone smiling is to show our humanity which was taken away by the colonialist
I'm amazed at how long ago the last comments were posted... How has this not even reached 1 million views... People are MAD!!! HONESTLY, MAD, CRAZY, IGNORANT!
So lucky that you got to meet Lowkey in person
This is so sick man. I really hope this is not just a temporary come back. The world needs people like Lowkey. Let's push this and Ahmed as far as we can.

Can't believe I've been listening to Lowkey for 10 years now. The evolution from Keys to Game is unreal.

+parkourviewer They were great mixtapes/albums, Lowkey has always been consistent.
that story to tell about the 2 brothers were something else
Reckon his albums are shit tbh.
+iDrexciya Not really. He's got weak albums.

Lowkey you represent so many of us, the oppressed, the immigrant, the thinker, my fam left behind, Shokran habibi, you made a difference in my darkest hours. The mind, the soul and the heart - Lowkey
Lowkey is one of the greatest one if not the greatest
this is a special moment, in a world full of craziness
This is a middle finger to cultural imperialism. I’ve always felt disgusted by foreigners who have self-hate ... especially people who give an English “normal” name to a child out of fear. This is better than any hip-hop track on TV in the last 20 years. Real hip-hop!

This video is so powerful. At first I never understood it but now I do and now it all hurts even more.

Lowkey is the best artist in the UK no doubt
