Book Roast It's about a failed utopian society, so I guess it's a dystopian really.
I adored Frost Blood and I'm very excited for FireBlood. So many people are frustrated with Red Queen so I've been recommending Frost Blood as an alternative. It did what Red Queen did but it did it better and without ripping off the Hunger Games so much
Poor Hunger Games tho, always gets ripped off hha

Every time I see a fairy loot Unboxing, I love it, but shipping would be crazy because I live in the U.S.
I've been getting owlcrate for the last 5 month or so and while some boxes are better than others, I have been liking the items I've been getting even though I'm not totally excited for the books.

Book Roast I follow fiction readers box on Facebook and that's one based in Australia. They just posted that they can no longer do international shipping because of this reason. It's sad they have to cut off majority of their demand.

Anyway, this Fairyloot box was awesome. I so want the pillowcase and the potion bottle sticky notes! I wish I could afford this box, but the shipping to the U.S. is crazy (same problem you have with Owlcrate, lol). And they sell out so fast! But maybe one day...
ah yes sorry for missing a few videos! It will happen from time to time but hopefully not often :) The play was AMAZING!! If you ever get a chance you have to go there, it's just incredible.
And I really hope you get your hands on the Fairyloot box at some point too, but I know what you mean, the shipping is so expensive if you live far away :(

I didn't struggle too much opening it. But I obviously lucked out in getting the right place. It had a very thick plastic over it though. I got airbender too, mint, love it.

I personally prefer fairyloot since i live in Europe and the price in total is 39.99 whilst the price for an owlcrate is about 45.99
I am so surprised you've never heard or read The Giver by Lois Lowry! I thought everyone reads it in school at least. You should check it out though, it is an amazing book!

Have you heard of the litjoy crate magical edition box? Idk how far along they come out but year 2 just shipped out. Too bad they said that it's $75 plus shipping idk how good the things are but I guess I will save for my favorite years.

Ahh I loved my Fairyloot box. It was the first time I've ever gotten one and it did not disappoint. I got the exact same candle and lip balm as you as well. Each item was amazing, I can understand the hype for Fairyloot each month :)

The bath bomb from Owlcrate was amazing. It smelled so good and I got Divergent! (Which isn't surprising since that's completely me.) I also just ordered July's box for Fairyloot and I'm so excited to get it!

I agree! For the Owlcrate it was a good one but I just always seem to prefer Fairyloot, I think it's partly the presentation, the care with the box and the fact the items are usually more usable!
I received both of these boxes this month too, I think fairyloot won for me to even though I hated the smell of my candle! I just didn't know anything about what was included in the owcrate box so a lot of the items meant nothing to me... Loved your hair in this video by the way xx

I got the fairyloot box, loved it, that candle though, it made me feel very nervous because the little herbs kept catching fire away from the wick.
Did it really?? I am a bit afraid now. Maybe I'll just use it for the photos and not actually burn it then :/
I just pushed them to the wick so they burned in the middle. And none of the herbs floated up as they burned. I watched the candle until they were all burnt.

Honestly it's been so long ago I can't remember what scores these were but absolutely it was very subjective - just my preference and opinion
Yaaay, FairyLoot won again! (Haha, it's interesting that you already gave merch in FairyLoot more points than OwlCrate before getting into the actual book. LOL) I totally agreed that their bookish items are more useful than those in OwlCrate! However, I've heard ROAR isn't as good as most people anticipated because of the dominant masculinity of the love interests. Can't wait for your thoughts, though! ^^

But there will be another box that's joining the box team haha I was lucky enough to be selected as their rep for a few months on Instagram and even though I will of course be brutally honest about it either way I never battle the boxes unless I pay for the box myself. Maybe one day the battle will recommence ! Hah 🙌🏻
