It's only Kats second season in the league. Was Kobe Kobe in his second season. Problem with Davis is he really screwed himself over by signing a huge extension with the Pelicans. Not opening his options. Not forcing the team to put a compatible team around him. Kat has the better long term situation, playing with the right coach, playing with the right teammates. Kat plays more games in a season than Davis, is always reliable to stay on the court, legidamatly can shoot the three, over 7 feet, legidamatly has a handle and one of the most fundamental and mature players for his age I have ever seen. Plus KAT is younger. Davis has had 4 or 5 seasons, KAT is a 2nd year. Let's not ever say that someone will never be as good. You just don't know.

KAT is great but I think Porzingis has the potential to be out of this world kind of player... if he is healthy since 7'2" players have problems with knee injuries a lot... but Porzingis also has the advantage that he is European, which means he has better defense mentality than KAT who seems a bit lethargic on D.... sometimes you just think he's sleeping while the opponents score... not that Porzingis is defender of the year... just seems a bit more willing to do the job as best as he can...

Karl Anthony Towns is honestly following ADs steps, first Kentucky, then 1st overall pick, rookie season averaging 18.3 points and 10.5 rebounds, and then he drastically changed it the following season averaging 22.4 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks.

U see Porzingis is an upgraded version of Dirk (taller than him and slightly better post game and defense). AD is an upgraded version of Garnett (more skills and better offensive player), and KAT is a downgraded version of Duncan in defense (especially as rim protector) but better offensinve player who can shoot the ball.
