This is the perfect mod for my Casio calculator watch. Although now I want to do this to ALL my digital watches. Guess I have work to do now. Thank you for great mod idea.
Awesome! I like this a lot. Do you think this sort of modification would be possible with a Casio CA-53W? I just got into watches and this one is great, but I'm finding the absence of any backlighting very annoying. Thinking this would be exactly what I need but I'm unsure how to go about it.
this lume wont charge from the led, i do this mod on my dw5600 too which is el backlight. still not powerfull anought to charge the lume,it still need to be charge from direct sunlight or some torch. the calculator watch have a very small display i dont think its a good idea to mod this background lume on it, if you have the new reissue one which is negative display. the only best mod is positive display it. but if you want to give it a go as part of your watch antusiast journey, just do it. but make sure you know all the teardown and asamble process. and dont lose any small things. there's alot of video on youtube show you how to do it. have fun wit your mod.

Casio should be ashamed that they themselves did not come up with such a simple but very useful solution.
Yepp, i agree. Like auto EL
it does not last long, about 5 mins.
Вот это действительно занятная идея! Теперь не успокоюсь, пока свои часы не переделаю.

Great vid and great mod
As soon as I opened the watch a small spring popped out that I don't know where I should put back. The watch seems to work
It was for the alarm and settings beep.
Very smart 👌 idea. Awesome
wow! very clearly tutorial! thank you so much bro!
definitely try this. 😍
What do you mean logo mod? I can’t find any videos on how to do that.
Would this still work if I used a color filter
That was wicked. I wanted to ask is the casio dw291h module the same saiz as the casio ae1200?
I know it's a year old comment but they are the exact same size, you can actually drop the ae1200 module right into the dw291h
@@parana2853 thanks arana back then i bought dw291h and now i already changed it and mod it with a ae1200 case 😁
kindly make tutorial for GA2100
if i do it on a watch what has a plain glass instead of that tinted one
will that effect the glass?
Nope
do you sell these? would buy one for sure!
Is it still glowing?
Great Job 👏
Sweet! 👍👍
good mod
