- As we have now cut the back off the patrol and there is no turning back now we jump head first into fitting up the OZ BUILT 4X4 ACCESSORIES Nissan Patrol Dual Cab DIY Kit. We Start By Cutting the Cab to the Correct Length, Mark and Install the Rear Wall, Tack weld in and then Weld it off.
Be sure to jump back and watch the Chassis Mods we done to make the Dual Cab Tray Mounts and the Chassis Bracing Kits, Supplied by PSR.

Whats the rear wall kit worth. Does it come with any info about where to chop it or anything
I'm about to do a similar job to my rusted out old swb jackaroo making her a style side ute , this video has given me a good idea how cheers man !

So do you only do little tac’s the whole way around?
Patrick Wright we Tac welded it all in place then went round and welded off every join, after that then we used a grinder and smoothed off the excess weld and move onto body filler.
Did you make the rear wall?
Its a kit from Justin @ oz built 4x4 accessories.
Did you put in new body mounts?
The car got new body mounts and also 1” body spacers.
I ment did you put new mounts where you cut the cab or is it just resting on the coil brace?
@@AS-uh6cg the cab sits about 2” higher than the coil brace, it is not required to put any extra mounts in, i know many people do add more but the engineer advised against it as it would put unknown loads on the cabin from the chassis. It is only 200 odd mms past the last existing factory mount.
