I got zero issue and no bug from start until finish, except there is stuttering bcause its UE 5, all of those big developer should learn from this game, indie company literally make better game than those huge company these days
i did some testing. when you put "quality of visual effects" on medium or lower the stuttering is gone. i have everything on cinematic except that = no stutter
final version is definitely much polished, much more natural looking color grading. The reveal had a bit of post-process to make it look "ancient".. maybe they can add screen filters in-game to have different feel to it.
Huh?,the reveal version has too much yellow-ish for the coloring and the final version looks like “real life” that has rich greens and the sun is catching the shadows here and there and even the trees too,and plus those graphics in the final version were made from the unreal engine 5 with the nanite technology to create millions of poly models in real time.Which it create “nanite meshes” is a technology that render pixel scale detail and high objects count no to make those details as real as possible,and it’s impressive

Not to mention all the details like all the leaves on the bridge (and probably all over the ground, but they only stood out to me there. It's fine if you prefer the color grading from the original, but the final is better every other way, hands down. The reveal version looked AMAZING, for sure. It looked like a finished game to me, at the time. I can now see the differences when the two versions are placed right next to each other, though. As amazing as the Reveal footage was, the Final version is somehow *even better*.
The retail version looks awesome, but honestly, the reveal has superior global illumination, better black levels, better particle effects, better character detail and better world maps.

I even argue that the realism they added went against the game, look the comparison at 3:56, reveal looks very good, you can clearly see the enemy and the scenario and also it has a warm tint, while the final version looks more "real" but those shadows from the scenario makes the game look darker and you can't clearly see much detail.
The reveal gameplay had more environmental density and better art direction. The final version looks flat in certain areas compared to the reveal because of changes in lighting. Upgrade in some areas, downgrade in others.

Obviously some things HAD to be toned down, the foiledge does move when the player or enemy interacts with it. Having each tree and bush individually move from the wind would make a pc explode HELL, right now you NEED the top of the line pc to even get 60FPS in the best graphics settings. Stop lying to yourself and appreciate the game for what it is. Now the dragon boss fight showcased in the UE5 gameplay trailer 3 years ago is WAY smaller and less impact full, how about you talk about that instead of the game as a whole. Because it really is a next gen mind blowing game!

10:49 Reveal wolf battle looks more cinematic, had better fur, lighting fx, even his eyes leave a ray trace when moving, fire color is more yelloish and realistic, fog shader feel really volumetric. But the final version feel downgrades over those aspects, the elements in enviroments looks more detailed and complex but at a cost of less demanding visual effects.
the fur is an upgrade in actual physic in the retail version tbh but the volume of fur become much lower that it really make it look like the wolf is balding overall on technical level reveal isn't exactly better in almost anything but it does look much more vibrant and artistic which make it feel better
@@Aki-ow9hd that is the comparison. You can see that in UE4 more was done by hand and Nanite and Lumen were utilized in UE5. I actually enjoy the look of the game and vegetation in UE4 more. And the ones that didn’t transition well were due to time and budget of devs.

Max graphics settings truly do this game so much justice. I’ve seen a few clips somewhere else where the final version didn’t look that good, but that was because the settings were not set to max. This clip right here truly shows what this game should look like. Wow.
I like the reflection on the mud as shown in the reveal version. And the yellow sunlight tint to it. Everything else the final version is better. Also fire looks way better in the reveal version as you can see at 11:10

the one problem about final version is brightness, increasing it in-game affect performance. ray tracing make it even darker...graphic wise, awesome feats LOVE IT....gameplay wise, eyes surgery calling
It is an upgrade in actual fur physic with you being able to see basically every single hair rendered with their own physic but the volume and overall feel does make it look rather fuzzy rather than fluffy like in the older trailer

The gameplay version is more cinematic with better effects, the final version has better lighting and more realism, in my point of view the gameplay version is better because this is a fantasy game and it looks more cinematic and with effects. particles gives it a more touch of fantasy and also realism, only horror or war games are excellent with too much realism, but fantasy games like horizon for example have excellent graphics but with a more cinematic touch and that looks much better in a game of that type. We have to wait for mods to be released so that the game looks like the gameplay version
I actually like the aesthetics of the original. I think the release version has just too much vegetation and detail than for its own good. You can’t even see the enemies sometimes due to how dark it is

Se ve muy bien el juego todavía, de lo mejor actualmente pero aun así hay downgrade y se ve claramente. Si no lo ves es porque no quieres, no vengas con el rollo de la paleta de colores o con que es en unreal engine 4 en lugar del 5. Sobretodo se aprecia en la iluminación, que está muy bien la versión final como ya he dicho, pero en los efectos del arma de fuego, o el pelaje del boss final e iluminación que incide en él o en la calidad y cantidad de las partículas, se nota perfectamente el downgrade. También han recortado al parecer en la cantidad de enemigos. Si lo hay se dice y punto, a ver si llegara algún día que lo que se muestra es 100% lo que jugamos.
What, the first version is clearly without global illumination, if you don't know what that is, look for gameplay of the game on low on the PC, it's the same as this version shown by them, about reflections, the final version had all the effects worked on, the game has reflections of the water waves at the bottom of the river in the final version!
Those shadows are due to raytracing being turned on so it does look more realistic this way though darker. If you turn off raytracing the shadows will also revert back to their lower quality, thus also affecting less of the scene. I personally prefer how the game looks now compared.
@@menuki6996 That's because when the first version used UE5 it only had manually rendered shadows like the usual way, generally because of the lighting designer it created a more cinematic art feel, but then UE5 added the feature RT lumens are the default lighting, making the overall look completely different. Enabling RT in-game is essentially switching from RT lumens to Nvidia RT.

Ah, yes! That track! The final game oversaturated in colors, but yet so dark. Gameplay wise game is just a Souls games (mostly Sekiro) and God of War rip-off To me reveal was authentic enough and I love it. Even the position of environmental items was logic and amazing. The stares... Look at those bells placement, my goodness... 9:12. And the lighting super amazing. The final version is just any game nowadays :)

esa Paleta amarillenta por si llamarla le da mas calidez al juego, el juego final de todas formas salio muy bien y gracias a dios son cosas que pueden optimizar a futuro tambien,

i think game one light issue is really there,always see light too bright and darness too dark,and it will always turn better in 1 seconds when you get in/out of the cave,i hope game science can fix this issue

While the Final version may have more geometric detail. I prefer the look of the reveal version because that lighting,smoke and particle effects look better. The final version has to many shadows and the way everything is lit just doesn't look as good.

el juego a sufrido un downgrade agresivo perdiendo muchos elementos como enemigos, reflejos y objetos, tambien se a cambiado la ubicacion del foco de iluminacion viendose con mas sombras, tambien algunos personajes perdieron detalles como el pelaje del jefe lobo blanco, a mi parecer a pesar que tiene mayor nitidez me parece mejor la version demo, igual el juego sigue viendose bien pero seguro que los cambios se hicieron para mejorar el rendimiento una consola como ps5 es incapaz de mover esa calidad de la demo a buena resolucion

The gameplay version is more cinematic with better effects, the final version has better lighting and more realism, in my point of view the gameplay version is better because this is a fantasy game and it looks more cinematic and with effects. particles gives it a more touch of fantasy and also realism, only horror or war games are excellent with too much realism, but fantasy games like horizon for example have excellent graphics but with a more cinematic touch and that looks much better in a game of that type.
We have to wait for mods to be released so that the game looks like the gameplay version

Yo digo q tuvo Upgrade, la primera version si la hubiera podido mover un poco mejor la PS5 de haber quedado asi, pero como implementaron mas cosas quedo practicamente perfecto
Estéticamente se ve mucho mejor el reveal , iluminación y atmosferics. pero el final, se lo come vivo en texturas con mas resolución, dirt, vegetación entre otros detalles.

Han hecho el truco de quemar la imagen para no ver el fondo (en la pasarela de tablas del min 7:00 se nota mucho ), los efectos de luces han bajado mucho y el número de enemigos, vegetación, objetos y lámparas encendidas 😢

Se ve muy bien el juego todavía, de lo mejor actualmente pero aun así hay downgrade y se ve claramente. Si no lo ves es porque no quieres, no vengas con el rollo de la paleta de colores o con que es en unreal engine 4 en lugar del 5. Sobretodo se aprecia en la iluminación, que está muy bien la versión final como ya he dicho, pero en los efectos del arma de fuego, o el pelaje del boss final e iluminación que incide en él o en la calidad y cantidad de las partículas, se nota perfectamente el downgrade. También han recortado al parecer en la cantidad de enemigos. Si lo hay se dice y punto, a ver si llegara algún día que lo que se muestra es 100% lo que jugamos.
What, the first version is clearly without global illumination, if you don't know what that is, look for gameplay of the game on low on the PC, it's the same as this version shown by them, about reflections, the final version had all the effects worked on, the game has reflections of the water waves at the bottom of the river in the final version!

Downgrade
Why put a lot of shadows on final version? The reveal game is so much clean and brighter and final version is deep on shadows.
Those shadows are due to raytracing being turned on so it does look more realistic this way though darker. If you turn off raytracing the shadows will also revert back to their lower quality, thus also affecting less of the scene.
I personally prefer how the game looks now compared.
@@menuki6996 That's because when the first version used UE5 it only had manually rendered shadows like the usual way, generally because of the lighting designer it created a more cinematic art feel, but then UE5 added the feature RT lumens are the default lighting, making the overall look completely different. Enabling RT in-game is essentially switching from RT lumens to Nvidia RT.
Reveal gameplay looks better
Concordo, no "reveal" a iluminação soa mais natural. Na "Final", é como se tivesse colocado em alto contraste.
Pode dizer que RT é mais realista, etc... Porém só de RT pra PatchTracing já há muita diferença.

To me reveal was authentic enough and I love it. Even the position of environmental items was logic and amazing.
