When you reach for a latch, you're not fumbling or having to ask the guy who actually knows the car where the latch is, your movement is as natural as it would be for any of us reaching for the hood latch on our own cars in our own garage. As a lover of the Automobile, I count myself as lucky to have you amongst our kind, albeit, one with a little more play money than most of us. Your generosity with your time and knowledge, your passion, these are things that most do not give freely and yet, you always seem to be grateful just to have our audience.
But what I appreciate the most about you is your steadfastness to share the kinds of treasures that most lock away. So many collectors leave their cars behind closed doors, leaving the rest of us to just imagine what they are like. You choose to drive cars, some, worth more than many of us will ever earn. And not to brag, but because you care that we might otherwise never have a chance to see them. And you have just as much fun driving and sharing something with a much more modest budget.
All of which is driven (no pun intended), by your deep passion of helping others join in experiencing the fruits of your labors. A car collection that is the envy of so many, partly, because it is used to bring joy to others.
Thank you for your time, your generosity, and for giving us a experience that inspires and enlightens.

Jay, you started off semi-apologetically saying "This is the new normal." I hope you're looking at the comments because this approach to the show with you single-o is just killing, man. People are loving it, me included. Don't apologize. This is good stuff!
And this ain't no patty-pat from me to help you get through the COVID rough spot because this is *not* a rough spot. It's new and it is good.
You can run this format forever and have an occasional guest, the reverse of the old format and it will suit us just fine. Your appreciation and love of cars shows through with everything you present, from Doble to Corvette to Panhard to Aston-Martin. Thanks for being you, man. This is great.

Jay's generosity reminds me of a day when I was stationed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga in Mayport, Florida. I stopped (in uniform) by a classic car dealer one afternoon and in the garage out back was a gorgeous red 365GTB4 Ferrari Daytona waiting for an oil change. The owner saw my Navy uniform and said "go ahead and sit in it if you want", and then wandered off, leaving me alone to sit and daydream in his priceless Ferrari. What a gentleman. Thank you, Jay and all others who share your wonderful cars with the rest of us!

Jay, thank you for another instructive & enjoyable video. Also, to be historically accurate, Ettore Bugatti founded his company in 1909 in Molsheim, Alsace, which at the time was under German control. In 1919 Alsace came under French control. In 1940 it again came under German control. In 1945 it again came under French control. Hence, depending on the year, Bugatti autos were built both in France & Germany. I don't know if that makes a difference in design or collector value but it is a historical curiosity.
