14:00: How does the game go for another 20 minutes, I wonder... 15:00: Does AP get screwed by a counterbombing run? No AA, no air lab after bombing 20:00: Don't understand AP's army attitude. He was pushing forward most of the game but is suddenly very reluctant to push. I guess trying to avoid throwing... but still, seems like a negative move on average after getting so much value from a bombing run. When the units are so clumped up it feels like that's a signal to widen the front and push everywhere and make them have it. These T1 deathballs kind of suck because of AOE. Also surprised no T2 as you say. 24:00 The little withdrawals by AP around Blodir's base are hard to follow. There's a big choke right in front of the base that you can concave around, I would prefer to stand off there if I could and just choke him off. 27:00 - So timid, getting pushed into a choke by AOE by a single tzar - why not take some space in a line instead of deathballing? Obviously it all worked out, and clealy AP's plan was to hold and continue harassing the base... but still, it actually seems riskier to me to give the opponent space to breathe than to keep up the pressure and forcing them to have it every time.
Every casting video i try to watch to learn the game and build orders, the caster is rambling on about something for the first 5 minutes of the video and when they're fully engaging in combat the casting starts.... i wish some casters could take example to lowkotv, or these guys from starcraft 2. Explaining what start they do with what eco build orders etc
@Requiem_tv thanks for the reply :) Its in no way a negative jab at your own style, but i'd love it to see such a thing introduced in the videos. For example, lowkoTV mostly casts 1 v 1's sometimes 2 v 2, but he always introduces the players from the first second of the battle and then looks at what they start with. How many things they produce, what buildorder they go for, if they rush certain units and go afressive, or go for a defense strat and upgrades. In BAR there isnt such in depth detail as to how people start. But there are SOME ways people can start out differently. Eco, fast T2, regular start with bots, start with vehicles. I'm interrested to see those type of things to learn from them. Should i build eco to a certain timeframe, or for example go 4 mexxes then transition something else.. if you get me. It doesnt seem all too important, but for example for that starcraft 2 caster. I've played starcraft like 2 times ever and i'm sure that if i hop on a game right now i could compete somewhat competetively due to the casting videos talking about timings, build orders etc etc.
@@Requiem_tv oh and p.s. i'm not trying to advertise the other youtuber, i just watch him a lot and i think the way he talks about the little details in terms of timings, transitions and buildorders is something that could benefit your BAR videos as well. Allthough i underdtand its a bit hard to do for the 8 v 8 videos, with less people maybe its possible and helps the new players coming to BAR. And also some longer time players if they want to play more competetively
Yea I understand and I appreciate the time to comment. I'm always trying to improve and make the content better so honestly thanks and I'll have a look 🙂
There is plans for matchmaking. You gotta remember the game is still alpha. There's alot of work being done behind the scenes and a whole new launcher/lobby is being made
nice inclusion of minicam
Autopilot one of my favorite players, he uses all the tools to get the win.
It is such a fun to watch fight of a two great players
21:45 you just gave me ptsd
That kind background music. It's always nice to hear. I follow a MechWarrior channel that does that as well.
Santa Requiem still handing out presents :)
The skuttles!
They should connect that middle lake to that longer sea section, would make navy viable here
Players could do it with enough nukes ;)
Is there a pro scene for this game? If so, where do I find the competitions, prize money, etc.? Links please.
Hey there is indeed a pro scene. Most is done directly from bars discord. Currently another torney has not been announced yet
more high level players

AutoPilot is a whole level above blodir. I think he was toying with him. Dont forget that this isnt a tournament match
Music is too loud. Best would be, If you could manage mute it, I can gladly play my own. BTW it is much better.

Thanks for your comment. I'll have a look at that person you mentioned when I get some time and see how I could include it :)

We need matchmaking or people like me will never do a 1v1
