What makes active recall a difficult thought for most people is because it is basically a head on collision with your own insecurities. It’s very difficult to start with but extremely validating once you are doing it or done with it. Thank you for this video. I am finding it very helpful. It’s painful at first but helpful in the long run.

That's true somewhat can relate with it, but insecurities is the wrong word you are using here. Again discipline and self confidence is the key here.

I watched your video on active recall while I was in college in 2023. Believe me, I have topped my college in honors pol.sci due to this. As in honors you have to write a lot. No one was able to finish their paper and I was able to finish my paper with a great answer structure.

Remember when your friend used to close the answer and tried to remember it in school? And he used to ask you questions and you would answer him and vice versa? Exactly! When we were in school there were workbooks that made the method of active recall so easy. There were 2 marks questions, 4 marks, 8 marks and so on. That is why we used to remember stuff more back in school. The same method must be applied here as well. It's not about reading the basic sources. The whole game is about remembering them 🎯 Thank you Shivin sir for introducing me to Active recall method.

This is one of the secret way of getting ahead in terms of revising & recalling a topic .. because in this firstly we recall things so our mind get a signal and almost all relevant thing related comes in your memory instantly and more quickly and human brain is so divine given by god that our brain quickly detect the faded portion of topic and you have to go through the topic read that only mark your weak areas and infact if you do properly you can even connect the all faded dots during revision and come to a conclusion that in whict part of theory you lack the most and next your work on that firstly

Good morning Sir 🙏 Thank you so much for the efforts you are putting in. Because of you, for the first time ever, I was able to finish vision monthly magazines. Though I finished reading November and December Monthly magazines, a video on the same would be helpful in effective revision. Please consider the request 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

It is really very smart technique sir, It is similar to opening the doors of one's brain outward than just keep feeding with information and following many a times inward receptive and outdated methodology of learnings. Change is the only constant, so shall we make our skills with transient and all evolving time. Thanks sir.

Knowingly or unknowingly i was using this as I don't like re-reading. In my other exams from now on i will definitely apply it here. ❤
