Last night my wife dropped a bomb on me that she needs a giant snowflake for a booth at my sons schools winter festival so kids could get pictures with it around their face. She said it had to be done very quickly and thought I still had the X-Carve so I could do it in the garage. Well, I had to head over to DarthTigger501's maker space since that is where my machine setup now and we had a blast cutting out this snowflake and it turned out amazing. My wife was MORE than a little happy. Hope you guys enjoy the video and me doing making projects again. Please slap a like on the video and hit subscribe and also comment down below, I'll be watching comments off and on.
your T-shirt is #LITTT
It sure is buddy!
Barnacules Nerdgasm the reason why it didnt cut all the way through the poster was because you had the clamps on one side which bent the board up, and the higher side was where you set your tool offset
That comment about the Lenovo seconded
Grats on the after dark fun time ;)
Classic Barnacules content! I love it!
This was last minute, grab the camera as I ran out the door content. This is honestly what I'm good at, I need to stop with the professional shit, I'll leave that to the other kids.
It was a perfect compliment to my dinner, and the "ladies" jokes had me in stitches! Keep it up!
Dude, I just found this. It is so nice to see you smiling and watching this video was great!
Great Video. Love your unique takes on these with the jokes and camera angles/sped up sections, makes it a fun watch. I know you spend a lot of time on twitch, but many of us just don't like watching that format. I hope you make more frequent videos here on youtube, really any kind of videos :)
The end result looked awesome. 😎
Very helpful! NICE VIDEO DUDE!!!!
You're very welcome!
Always love watching your new videos no matter the topic
Hell yeah! Love when I come home from work with a fresh upload from Jerry
Excellent video. Very upbeat and fast paced
YAY! Happy Barnacules == more videos! Keep up the good work!
you guys are hilarious! i’m definitely getting an x-carve now 😂
Awesome video! Like the "good old" style!
Came out great!
Missed you bud welcome back keep posting you have all the support in the world.
I have used many cnc machines with torches, plasma cutters and water jets being a welder. There is something that is always mesmerizing watching it cut.
Wow... You are back to your normal self.... by the way, the final outcome is amazing besides all drama. Ha ha.. I enjoyed it Jerry.....
I like being different, this felt like my old self just doing different stuff and having a good time joking around. Haters have made me to serious and other tech tubers have made me try to be too professional and it doesn't fit well. I just need to the random camera slinging dude that primarily focuses on doing stuff I'm pasionate about and record it secondary.
WOW! Very impressive! Fun to watch! : )
good to see you upload more. I like more consistent uploads
dude, I love you. you have the most thoughtful videos and i check on you once in a while hoping you do well.
These are the videos I love, intelligent and funny!

Dig your videos man. You are a fun dude to watch and funny as heck.
Glad you enjoy my videos, the more random and unplanned they are the better they turn out.
Looks good man

Your content has changed a lot over the time , but still mad respect to you.
I'm always trying new things depending on my life situation and mind state.
Cool stuff, happy kids :)
Best shirt ever

Looking pretty good J. I kinda like the stash
Jesus freaking mustache Jerry nice I love it!!😄
😂 You’re funny. Great video. Thanks.
Proud of the frequent video uploads lately. Keep up the good work and don't listen to the haters.
The haters are starting to fall on deaf ears, been having a good time lately.
hey man awesome video keep it up man
i didnt even notice your mustache until you pointed it out in the end
WOOT !!
"The z axis has roughly the same penetration as i do"... I am so glad i got to swallow that drink of coffee seconds before watching that. That was funny stuff. I was rolling.
More like the mustashles, you look like the kindest bad guy. Love your maker stuff :)
Good job
Hope you get 1 million subs hypeee
Not sure about whether or not the x-carve bed was flat or not, I bet the reason it didn’t cut all the way through is because the poster board lifted on one side while the machine was cutting
That is what I thought as well, probably just warped from being stored upright for a while.
Loving the Stache Jerry! Now go buy yourself some Aviators to go with that you badass
"Exceptions: Adamantium"
My inner Dwarf Fortress nerd is coming out.
I love your mustache man
Just had to cut some snowflakes for my wife. I used my work's small hotwire cutter and made 12 in various sizes from a 36" x 48" sheet of polystyrene foam.
new subs here! love all your vids bro..
Xander and wifey reactions to your work!!!!!!!
For the ladies, he didn't had to adjust that caliper, 0.19 inch for both mesures...
Nope, made it nice and easy :D
Been away from channel a bit. Missed some great humor and the growing of the stash!
I haven’t watched a video in a while nice to be back
wtf, so many videos is such a little time, i can only like this video
It fits you well.
Didnt finish the video and I have to say to finish the giant fidget spinner. Will continue watching later... wow
I would really love to see a video when Jerry helps somebody with a project instead of the reverse.
2 new Barnacules videos in 2 days? Wow, did you take those "why do you need a 13k pc to render videos when you rarely upload" comments to heart?
I don't let negative comments drive me, the reason for more videos is just because of the situations.
I think it was my sexy beast comment on that video. Leave a comment wanting to see more of this sexy person and next day here it is.
1:45 TRIGGERED
I really want one of those machines
i like the mustache
*****positive guy comments*****
Quick! your live soon!! :)
my live soon what?
2:36
DAMN IT BARNACULES, I DID NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT MY DRINK SMELLED LIKE.
What speed and bit did you use to get a clean cuts... Thanka
Wait... Your son's school expected him/you to make a giant snowflake? What if you didn't have that machine... That would've been the biggest pain in the butt to make.
My wife said she could do it because "her husband" had a giant carving machine. She forgot to tell me just how big of a snowflake she needed until last night in which case I informed her that DarthTigger501 had my machine so I called him up and this got done quickly!
What were your feeds and speeds? I'd like to cut some one inch thick foam letters for my store front. They will be 12 inches tall.
Can you cut lattice like materials with this to make fancy privacy screen for out doors? I’d like to make a pergola roof out of it?
👌🏼 Una consulta, qué fresa o herramienta utilizas?
Can we 3D print that mustache? I want that in my room. I love you
i DEFINITELY saw Russlel Crowe in this video !!!
Damn jerry that Mustache 😩
Jerry, your stache is already 1000000x better than last year. You doin' some growth thricks this time round?
Barnacules, you inspired me to waste scam callers time with your scam call pranks. I am proud to say that today while standing in the shower I was able to waste 45 mins of someone's time, claiming they were going to give me a $9,000 government grant. I even asked him if he knows my friend "Ben Chod" who works there. It was fantastic!😆
What's the music @ 8:35? Great video! We should be expecting an addition to the Barnacles family in nine months? lol
Jerry got it in.
I like X-CARVE
10:38 I would like to see You both on Halloween candy hunt with theese:-)))))))
P.s. thanks
oh my fucking god i read this originally as “cutting giant snowflake for christmas pornography” kill me
What spindle is that X-Carve using? I haven't seen that one before! I have the dewalt 611
Its the OG, they upgraded to the DeWalt in 2017
You can also use Inkscape for .svg also
Final note, I could be wrong, but maybe if you set the depth to 0.25" I am used to steel, but it can vary in thickness from 5 to about 12 percent
Could one of those machines, or perhaps the smaller version, cut through malleable metal, like Copper?
I have a number of ideas of things I'd love to cut out, if I had one of those machines.
+Skiliner Yes, just need to go really slow.
Now I need to get me one, or make friends with someone who has one... I wanna make me a few cool necklaces and such, like a Horde symbol necklace.
Hey Barn I ran a big boy that was 5' x 10' made in Texas. But I'm Canadian and absolutely loved this video! Keep those cnc video coming. I'm actively looking to help men health because it seems that we all suffer in silence behind our mustaches. More needs to be done then just facial hair. " am I right? " haha
good vid ,this guy sounds and seems to look alot like john candy
Is there any idea to make this 4x8?
YOU GOT LAID!
Commentary was more like XXX-Carve :D. But honestly this was a laser project
Who starts a video like that! I almost shat myself
LMAO was just about to mention the stash.
Dat stash
What size of bit did you use???
What size is the x-carve you were using?
Hi! Well technically that was a complete fail at frames 10:09 when you guys went "neanderthal" back to a simple blade. But I still want that X-Carve Unit (even the Hanky Lookn' Version). What exactly happened underneath the Foam Core Board? Could I have laid a big piece of cardboard (like from an old unfolded shipping box) underneath the target Foam Core and sprayed some Tee-Shirt Screenprint Adhesive under both the cardboard and and Foam Core before the cutting process?
you should mill some carbon fibre with it.
We got a special lil snowflake over here!
jk, nice to see you again.
While it maybe slower... small bits are not a bad idea on parts that have questionable holding! Maybe slower but hey if you only got piece of material it can be a lifesaver! Speaking as a machinist ;)
