You are the only one who has mentioned this to choose what you like not what companies are mostly hiring for, I feel this is my situation. I like web development but the more I program in JavaScript the more I realize I am not a fan of JavaScript. Originally, I was learning Python as my first language for Data Science but realized that I didn't like Data Science. I actually like web development, mobile development and some back end. Also, I am interested in learning how to automate, and Python is excellent for automation.
I am from New York City but there doesn't seem to be many jobs for programming in Python? I mostly see Java development more than anything else and a far second JavaScript with mostly React they are asking for. I see only few jobs hiring for Python, I think AWS Cloud services uses Python not sure? But I will follow your advice follow what you like. Deep down I am not a fan of JavaScript I enjoy Python. Maybe I should look at what types of jobs are out there using Python? thank you for your video.
yep i am also on the same boat , got very confused between java & C# ( .net) which on to choose to become a Azure developer , i know that azure native language is C# but comparing job opening java is the clear winner but im worried whether java will compatible with Azure or not , kindly let me know if you have an idea on this.
Thank you for the advise. One question though. Nowadays many job positions are asking .Net, C# with Python and Django experience. You advised to focus on the technology that I like. I like .Net but lately due to such job descriptions I am not qualifying to apply. What is your advise on this ? Is it a good idea to learn Python and Django after spending 10 years in .Net ?
