      In 2020, you should have compared java with .net core not .net framework. This is misguiding.

      Intellipaat Java requires a lot of tooling/boiler head to get started. Just do Python first.

      Hi Bobby, You can look at it this way. You want versatility, then go with java. Because you can run it on any platform without any major setup. If you want to create applications on Windows, and like using C#, go ahead with .NET.

      @@Intellipaat This is an incorrect and outdated perception of .NET. .NET is NOT Windows only. You can create on any platform for any platform and today is MORE portable than JAVA is.

      And .NET is plenty versatile. You can do whatever you can do with Java in .NET in a simpler, easier and more intuitive way.

      I would strongly recommend that you study for two years of software development. The only career for a physicist is research, and the competition there is ruthless. Unless you went into technology faculty then you become an engineer, but you would know that. Studying software development while having a degree in physics will make you more lucrative within the software industry, I would think.

      Both are relatively easy to learn. The question is why do you want to learn one or the other. First, if your employer uses one or the other, then learn the one they use. C# lets you write games, iot, web, web assembly, desktop (both windows/mac os), mobile (ios and android), machine learning, and many other project types. It is the most target rich, flexible and cross platform language available today and is arguably MORE portable that java. There are as many JAVA jobs available as .NET jobs, so either will serve you well if you are looking for employment.

    c# is so hard, and there is so little tutorial and article online, unlike java there is a lot. I want to master c# as its very beautiful The only problem is resources and its complexity, its so hard!.

      @@kiranchannayanamath3230 how about mysql to c#, most people on tutorials just damn out the codes without explaining it. I have sime basic learning on c#.
      The only problem i hzvd is when connecting it to mysql.
      The only arcticle that help me abit was about csharpcorner. If you can give me idea on how to edit, delete and update in mysql. Simply without destroying a set of logic such as crystal report and such id be happy.

      @@exogendesign4582 I don't have much knowledge on mysql, but in C# you can use LINQ to SQL to perform update, create, delete operations at the code level using DB context. Again I would recommend you to go through KuD Venkat channel, it has very detailed videos on all of this.

    Bullshit video. Java has a framework just like .NET. .NET Core can run anywhere including Mac and Linux.
