"Overwhelming" Maybe... I tend to think how incredibly lucky we are to see this future happening around us, what amazingly exciting times we are living in and entering into. Thanks for the ride DigiDels. great video.
I've been highly interesting in the Tangle and its potential applications, it's good to now see the IOTA team coming out with various use cases and real world adaptations. Having said that, I remain skeptical (and I really wish I didn't have to) about the team's communication skills, their use of the coordinator and the fact that they're highly non-vocal about when this service is going to be shut down. The way they've responded to issues in the past just shows a degree of arrogance / narcissism that is leaving a bitter taste, hopefully they'll avoid this going forward. The project in itself has always had a huge potential.
I know what you mean, David the founder did address the arrogance issue sometime ago in an interview with Ivan on Tech. We just have to wait to see as whatever it is they are doing is still at least a decade away IMO.
Hahaha, yeah I saw that interview, it honestly didn't really convince, actually quite the opposite. He summarily dismissed MIT, thought it was OK that people thought he's arrogant, etc. They could have just as easily made the statements about the copy protection mechanism being in CURL-P (the prototype), not CURL (the hash function) at that time rather than saying they didn't see an issue. David has also had a public fight with Vitalik and people lost IOTA in a wallet hack because they don't believe that wallets are a priority ...
How long do you guys think it will take for the machine-to-machine economy to become fully functional?

Thank you😬 and I agree we're incredibly lucky to see all of this in our generation...I cant imagine what the world will be like in the next 50 years.
