The thing is naruto has to be calm to activate sage mode so beating konohamaru was so easy that it made him calm
The thing that gets me about the scene of Naruto throwing Konahomaru is that he stomps him down then PICKS HIM BACK UP to do it.
He WALKS UP to him, and Spartan kicks him down and then picks him up to toss him, like Naruto is playing ninja with konohamaru one last time because yeah Natuto could have ended it alot sooner but just wanted to throw hands

We can blame Kakashi for this one. He made Naruto go through the ranks "properly" before he became Hokage. Like we never got an explanation as to why Neji was the only one out of his class to be a Jonin after the time skip.

Aint no damn genin using sage mode, by default you gotta be at least jonin for that. AT LEAST, every sage mode user in the show is KAGE LV.
See the problem with this is that Naruto himself is EXACTLY that, a genin that can use Sage Mode. Titles don’t really mean that much. Gaara was a genin and was casually killing jounin. Naruto and Sasuke were well beyond chunin level back in part 1 despite being genin (and this is without their buffs, remember when Sasuke casually styled on the Demon Brothers?) Neji killed Kidoumaru, one of the sound 4 who damn near killed members of Minato’s personal guard and that was as a genin.
Hell, Sakura was just a chunin and she was boxing with Sasori, a Kage level threat. Sure she had help but she was the muscle of the fight. The rule was definitely meant for Naruto specifically but there was always that chance that you have an exception that’s more powerful than they really should be for their rank.
@@whyte4315Sakura needed that help. She would've died had Chiyo not been there. I believe that she even states or thinks that in the manga. Agree with everything else though.
@@whyte4315 I only kinda agree with that, because lets be honest. Most characters in the show who arent main characters arent getting around the set rules made for ninja ranks.

Screw Chunin, Naruto should've at least been promoted to Jonin after the Pain Arc LMAO. He is literally beyond the skill level of Chunin thanks to Sage Mode. He's literally achieved a level of power most Ninja never can XD
