This channel is completely dedicated to exploring the wonderful archipelago of Indonesia. And I, by hook or by crook, will visit all corners of these magical islands, first by Motorbike - A Honda CB500X.
Join me in the very first episode where I am riding around Bali (basically getting used the bike and the filming equipment) and starting my Indonesian adventure. In this epsiode I visit the incredible USENSCO world heriatage site of Jatihluwih rice terraces, I visit to Muduk area where I see the waterfalls of Melanting and Labuan Kebo, I travelled to a seldom visited Buddhist temple in Buleleng, and finally end at the largest waterfall complex on the Island of Bali called Sekumpul.
Oh , And I manage to drop my bike in the rice fields and the helpful and friendly locals pull me and my wreck from the mud. Wow, I won't do that again.

Back in 1994 I only got to see Kuala Lumpur, Jarkata & Bali since I only have 2 weeks vacation. Also flying anywhere in Indonesia in those day is very expensive since it was control by Garuda airline. Reading the books Indonesia there are many exotic other places I can only dream. Your video has fulfill my curiousity of exotic those remote locations. thank you.

Hi Sam. I am a new fan of yours. You went awol for years holding three jobs and saving every penny for the great adventures that lie ahead that you have already planned in your mind. Smart move for time moves faster while we enjoy life and before long we have to call it a day. I am going about with a walking stick and have disposed of all my fishing gear. Not the end yet as there are things that I can still do.
Some fifteen years ago I did some criss-crossing of Bali on a bike. Not of your caliber on a big Honda but a smaller hired one riding pillion. This friend of mine was a bus conductor and knew many off-the-track places in Bali, East Java and Central Java. One night we were at Buleleng right in the middle of a gamelang festival. All the top bands were there and I cannot begin to describe how wonderful it was. The gongs were so huge a forklift was required.

It was from Honda Astra in Denpasar, Bali. They have a Honda Big Wing center and their own dedicated big bike manager there. Great service!
