For these expandable system cooling designs I am assuming that they use a positive displacement pump system to keep flow rates consistent (i.e. increase pressure to overcome flow resistance due to adding more systems to the loop)? Similar to what you find in laboratory chiller units?

Yea. Our little one has one pressure, the small rack unit has manual pressure controls and the big row unit has more automation.
