Did one week at Copper creek this summer. Now I’m looking at buying DVC for the resort. The consensus online seems to be with BR. However, the weird conversion setup in CC seems to suit us better. CC table is the first DVC table we’ve used that could comfortably sit more than four. The bath tub has jets. There’s more storage. Contract length is a lot longer (maybe positive or negative). I find the galley kitchen easier to work with, although me wife doesn’t like it. Both bedrooms and living area had balconies. I’ve heard people complain about room noise in CC as well, but we were at the tail end of the building, high up, so didn’t hear a thing. I think I prefer the aesthetic of CC. The separate building thing for BR doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Murphy beds needs to happen in CC. But again, it seems 80% who’ve stayed in both recommend BR. What am I missing?
I do agree that the CC table is better to fit more people and I do love the galley kitchen! My husband enjoys copper creek more while I enjoy the classic setup and renovated style of Boulder ridge. I imagine a lot of people like the boulder ridge building that has its own pool that is quieter than the main pool or that people are nostalgic for the older room layout. A plus side to buying CC over boulder ridge is you will get more years out of it for sure. Which is your home resort?
@@vacationresorttours1220 I’ve always strongly argued that owing DVC is a terrible idea. Maybe it’s the places we’ve rented points before. But BVC and CC this year and the struggle to get dates has somewhat changed my mind.
Stayed at copper creek and beach club 1 bedrooms. Both I thought were great. But Boulder Ridge renovation and the way they use color blows them out of the water.
Yes! I love this renovation so much! We also stayed in a 1 bedroom copper creek- but the room had such a unique layout with a winding hallway that we hadn't experienced before, was it a different layout for you too?
