  • In this video, our volunteer Fabio Malaspina shows you how to tie a "Rainbow Warrior Nymph" fly. It is an attractor fly that doesn’t represent any insect. This is a wet fly that you can use to target trout, steelhead, carp, and panfish. Fish it in conjunction with another nymph or egg pattern (steelhead) under an indicator.
    Materials list:
Thread: 70 or 140 UTC Red
Hook: Size 10 - 14 curved nymph hook. I used an Tiemco 2457 size 10
    Bead: Silver 1/8”
Tails: Pheasant tail fibers natural color
    Body: Pearl mylar tinsel
    Hot spot: Red thread
    Optional:
Collar/legs: Cul de canard natural color (1 turn)
    Skill level: Intermediate
