What brand of air clay are you using?? Enjoyed it..

For this one, I used the clay that I cooked from this recipe ruclips.net/video/6VYgi7EFBMQ/видео.html.
But I suggest using DAS Modelling Clay. It’s way better.

Could you make the center hollow by taking the cone out before or after it dries to be able to be able to put a flameless candle inside it?

Yes you can do that. I suggest wrapping the cone first with a saran wrap.
