You can tell she has been raised by strong Christian parents to give her that foundation into adulthood. Love that she’s best friends with her mom and can talk to her about anything. Also love the saying “5 seconds of awkward can save you from a lifetime of regret”. Saving that for my daughter one day 💖
I'm not sure a Christian foundation is really the best way to raise a kid.
@@ianyboo She's more happy than most of the depressed kids who have image issues.
@@sumandhabolkar2819 I'd be happy if I mistakenly thought I had won the lottery. But that happiness would be an illusion. Same goes for Christian kids, they think they are getting the ultimate gift, an eternal existence in paradise, that would make anyone happy if they were convinced it was true. But I prefer reality :)
@@ianyboo I'd rather live a lie and be happy than face the truth and be miserable. Not to throw a shade but it's my life's reality. I've more than 50 years left and I'd just be happy with my wife who has faith in god. If life was like a video game where I could live again, I'd do it with fully living in reality.

As someone who was not raised in a Christian family, I sometimes ponder how "second generation Christians" (if you will) don't seem to have the Joy of the Lord as strong as their parents or grandparents.
It is refreshing to see that this young lady does.

Wow. I have been having trouble reading the Bible lately, and hearing her say that verse pulled at my heart. I feel like I was out of breath and I just started breathing again. God is so good.

Sadie is such a great role model for women and teenagers at every age. I love hearing her speak and reading her book.
Role Model ?? seriously ? Maybe she preaches the Gospel,and reaches people i will give her credit for that . However how she dresses is not very feminine

Mara Barnes God can give wisdom and discernment to anyone. And at the age of 19 (when this was filmed) she had gone through things most of us could never say we’ve been through. Just because she is young does not mean she has not walked through some hard things that God has given her wisdom and strength in.
