    wrap my emotional mind around this mans abilities to put the world first, so we
    could feel good, proud, hopeful and be viewed as a race, as whole, capable,
    empathetic, compassionate, intelligent and creative. Chadwick worked up until
    the last... he truly lived doing what he loved... up until he could do no

He's created a wonderful, irreplaceable legacy & that's just incredible.

      There are several reasons to ignore inflation. Chief among them, less people go to the movies now because they're more expensive than they were when Titanic came out.

    • @Music-dw7ng
      @Music-dw7ng 6 лет назад +15

      Reginald Featherbottom III There are actually no valid reasons to ignore inflation.
      Its sole purpose is to make current movies that earn less look better.
      Not that your example isnt entirely idiotic. You literally said we should ignore inflation because less people are seeing these movies. Wow.
      But even more valid reasons dont come into play when you consider more recent films. Where everything is similar except for inflation. Like TDK for example.
      Ticket prices are irrelevant. Less people go but higher prices means higher sales with fewer people. So it balances out.

    Black Panther has now become one of the most successful Superhero movies of all time and now hearing that it was sells more tickets at the box office than Titanic did has me more convinced that 2018 is the best year for the first mainstream Black superhero and the mighty king of Wakanda. Congratulations T'Challa

      Civil War made $1.1 billion worldwide and Avengers made $1.5 billion, unless you're adjusting for inflation. Black Panther is the third highest grossing MCU movie worldwide, behind only Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

      Oh I was responding in regards to the worldwide box office. But yeah I was wrong about Civil War. But in terms of worldwide ranking, Black Panther is number 10 as of today. It hasn't yet crossed the $2 billion mark but I'm hoping it does. I'm pretty sure it goes Avatar, Star Wars TFA, Titanic, Jurrasic World, Avengers, Furious 7, Age of Ultron, Harry Potter DH part 2, Star Wars TLJ, and then Black Panther.
