Brilliant once again. I was in bed recovering from a slipped disc feeling sorry for myself then noticed a new episode had come out. Cheered me up, thank you.
……pretty much the same with me Carl. I’m at home recovering from Prostate surgery & happened across EDD. This video (VW Beetle) is the very first one I’ve watched, but I’ve already subscribed as it is is proper compulsive viewing !!!!! Can’t wait to go through previous videos & look forward to seeing how the Polo turns out #DreamClean
Your subscribers very much appreciate the time and effort you take to put these videos together Always professionally presented , informative and well narrated Content is much appreciated You keep up the good work Always look forward to the next episode
Great video love seeing a car/van that's been neglected turned around like this. That car lift is a great bit of kit especially for doing a proper job on wheels and arches.
Best detailer on youtube hands down Love the fact you concentrate on the specific area in each video, not the general wash type. Content is random Results are always amazing Love you starting to post on the regular (even though it requires so much effort 👌) It puts a smile on my face when you post and I enjoy watching your videos when I'm just chilling. Thank you sir
Thanks for the feedback and continued support 001r, hopefully in the near future I will step up the content up and create 2 vids per week👍 variation on content
The video is great! The editing is awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to film and edit this video - I think I can speak for most viewers and say we appreciate it immensely! Also: I envy your wash bay 😲
6:00 What's also very effective for removing brake dust and a lot cheaper is vinegar essence: spray it on, leave it for a couple minutes, rinse. Ive seen fully rusted pieces of iron being soaked into 1:1 water-vinegar solutions for five minutes and the rust could be wiped away with a towel
Great to see your videos back on a regular basis. One thing I love about them is the tasteful music which is very much in the background. Too many YT channels I watch the music is too loud and overpowering. Terrific work on that Beetle.
Once again, top notch job. That bug was in really good nick for its age, the work and effort you put in made it look like new. Good luck on growing the channel mate you deserve it. 😎👍🏻
Another fantastic video. Without a doubt my favourite RUclips channel. I adore the fact you aren’t trying to flog products etc please don’t ever go down that route. You keep it real unlike those American and that arrogant Canadian wally. Keep up the fantastic work.
Hi Neil I think in time a brand sponsor over a period of time. would be good to help with the costs, as RUclips not financially viable below 200k subs! But more like wickes/b@a sponsor a DIY program! I don’t mind using a brand I have faith in on the channel …. It don’t wish to do a 5 min segment selling some random video game/razor blades or other things not car related!
Lovely transformation although I was really hoping you'd put new bonnet and boot badges on. First thing I thought when you started cleaning it "I hope he replaced those". Never the less, looks great! 👍
Agreed, this customer is pretty good with that sort of stuff, once its had the wheels repainted and the body work sorted, I'm sure he will fit new ones
Great tip for the scrub pads, thanks. Also, I have a small compressor and have never thought of using it to dry or flush out debris when cleaning my car, genius!
Good grief that certainly had been 1 neglected vehicle 😳 you really had to earn your corn on this one 😳 what a before & after. Amazing..you are the best at what you do sir..keep up the great work & the videos for us all to enjoy 😉 👍
I detailed a Chrysler convertible (drop-head) that spent 4 months parked under some trees while her owner was recuperating from surgery. The car was covered with green algae and black mold.. the black convertible top was totally green. Four hours later, the paintwork and door shuts were back to silver, and the top was black again!
First time viewer here - great vid! I really do like the calm voice over. I might have to do some shopping on C&S now, the scrub pad seems great but what really caught my eye was the transparent wash bucket! Cheers
I detail cars part time and have advertised on facebook marketplace... I love it when people watch video's like this and expect to get the same work that this guy put in for my $125 detail price. To have a detail this thorough, expect to pay $750-$1000.
i just come across your channel, and what a first video to watch what a incredible job you've done :) appreciate the time and effort in editing it and making it :)
Love the new bay looks so clean and professional always eager to check out your videos brilliant turnarounds and good source of motivation to actually clean 🧼 my car 😂
Re the editing, to be honest I think your videos are edited just right for the type of content. There are loads of detailing channels on RUclips, but so many of them feel so painfully overproduced; the focus being on how great the presenter is at detailing, rather than the actual process. Not to mention they are in warehouse sized studios with incredible lighting up the wazoo, and they're trying to sell their own signature blend of products. I really appreciate the no-BS style of video which just shows the process and the end result, with a clear, unpretentious commentary over the top. Perfect.
Great video Phil, amazing transformation of a dirty bug, Clean and Shiny are a fantastic company ,used them many times myself , allways had great service from John and his team. Keep up the hard work mate and the vids coming . All the best :)
@@everydaydetailing6449 hi. On a serious note where are you based and do you valet a yin e. Ads or is it just the trade industry as you seem to do fantastic work on all the vehicles and seem to be real honest
@@everydaydetailing6449 I had to watch it amongst the kids early on running a muck before bed, i will have a look now. Its an Breadvan, uber cool for me these are. Although i do prefer the original over this. Although cant afford to be fussy they're getting scarce.
I always save a sample of what I extract from the interiors of vehicles I detail to show the client. They are amazed that their vehicles were that dirty inside.
Brilliant work I am 63 and still valeting cars my own business for las 30 years may I ask I like your lift what make is it and also your wash area with the sheetin is fab have you a video on constructing it
Awesome work EDD! Loving the product descriptions as well. I’ve been using koch chemie one cut and pad . Does a decent job for weekend warrior like myself!
Now I've watched all your videos, and it's fascinating to see how fabric is cleaned, including that awful mouldy skoda. I'm curious though, recently I did a bodge job on my headliner. At first I tried doubled sided tape, but the foam just disintergrated, you can't stick anything onto it. I found the solution was twist pins, now the fabric has a good contact with the fibreglass above. Do you find the foam in seats ever needs replenishment, would you do that? Also, my car has leather seats. I bought it used and the drivers seat has more cracks than the rest. What's your experience working with leather, is saddle soap any good? Hope to see a new video soon, it is most satisfying seeing the before and after. I was amazed at how much better the red coat on the Vauxhall combo looked when you polished that.
Late to teh party...but loving the video! I've acquired a fairly messy 2005 beetle cabriolet. Your process for the roof is what i'll have a go at. I've been concerned using a pressure wash on the fabric, but yours came out great!
I was taught to do the engine bay, door shuts etc 1st then do the outside bodywork not the other way round, additionally it was 20 plus yrs ago, have things changed ?
I can only imagine the before and after beetle in real life. How much would that level of clean cost at full retail? You must have added multiple x what it would cost to any price it could sell for.👍
Hello. It was nice, but the cleaning starts from the top of the car and then we go to the bottom part, and this is because if we clean the bottom part first, the smell that is in the top part will again stain what we have cleaned in the bottom part. It's double the trouble.
Well done mate. I love your videos. I also use Koch Chemie. Really god brand. Just resently they started to offer Green Star in 5L here in Norway. Much more cost effective.

I appreciate that! thanks Gordon :)
Your videos are like what I imagine a cleansing spa day with a facial wrap feels like. Relaxing, cleansing and deeply satisfying.
One of the best car cleaning channels imo, every job is like the real cars you see. Not already mostly clean supercars.
I appreciate that!
Love all your videos! Very soothing to watch! I love all the care you give these older vehicles, they deserve the love!
Morning coffee and every day detailing video PERFECT!
Thanks Ross 👍

Koch chemie spray sealant is very impressive, one of the easiest to use and still going strong after 12 weeks on my car.
Great tip for the scrub pads, thanks. Also, I have a small compressor and have never thought of using it to dry or flush out debris when cleaning my car, genius!

Been using those scrub pads for about 12 months, they are a game changer. I don't use detailing brushes near as much for interiors because of them
They are brilliant so much quicker 👍
