Dear Sami. Like I said before in your previous video, please don't use 60fps mode for low light video testing. 30fps is the best in terms of night time shooting to see the actual quality of smartphone cameras. That's why selfie video on OnePlus looks better and Xiaomi is the darkest.

Vivo 100 pro night photos with telephoto are just better in terms of details, sharpness and exposure. night videos - vivo x100 pro is looking the best but OnePlus 12 has the best mic. Selfie videos - OnePlus is the most balanced since it's brighter with 4K but personally I'll go for xiaomi no debout.

Good things about cam comparisons are for the most part they are subjective in the end. On a purely objective take based on specs and ability of the sensors the Vivo gives you the best low-light performance in most scenarios, especially for videos. Personally i prefer the color rendition on the OnePlus 12 over the Vivo and the Xiaomi for photos which is the main concern for me. The picture quality is fine on all three devices, and digital zoom is nothing i need so that doesn't factor in for me. Plus arguably the OP12 gives you the most bang for your buck being less expensive than the other two phones while only slightly trailing behind the Vivo and matching if not slightly outperforming the Xiaomi.
OnePlus wins in terms of loudness and clarity, however it does capture a lot of the background noise. Xiaomi on the other hand, seems to have noise reduction but clarity didn't suffer albeit the loudness dropping.

Did you check the quality of OP12 for HDR? haha such a shame quality, it's not even worth 200$ for that phone. Vivo just shows humiliation over the other phones in zoom camera. Those 2 are not even close. The only competitors are Iphone 15 and Samsung S23 Ultra.
Beware-The people who are considering x100, it's shitty in videos , jittery frame dropping videos in low light and it can't do 4k from front camera, if you are video guy you would surely regret buying it

So Op photos in night might be better than xiaomi, while video is better for xiaomi, because of the stabilization problem with op12. Vivo has superb cameras, just that microphone is not at the price of the phone. This my 2 cents

There’s something in Vivo’s processing that’s off the beat. The quality of the photos and videos are also really good in some other tech reviews. My only issue on Vivo X100 pro is its 1080 selfie cam, though I saw some reviews that it has a very good quality. The curved display is also a dealbreaker for me. It makes it look like a 2019 display, it looks outdated. I don’t know, I really love flat displays in 2023. Look at Nubia red magic… That design is lit!❤
@4:14 i think Xiaomi appeared darkest on this because its on the dark side of the road. While the Vivo is nearer from the lights coming from the cars on the street.
I thought you put in some great work and offered very different pictures and video. Extra points for braving the cold too. I thought Vivo won most of the shots, but not all of them. Sometimes Oneplus or Xiaomi was best. The 1080p on the Vivo front camera looking better and cleaner than the 4k on the others stood out to me though. Some say it was because of the 60fps, but I don't know because that doesn't explain the Xiaomi looking a lot worse. Imagine if it was the 4k it probably should have been though.
60 fps is 2 times of shutter speed of the 30 fps. Means less time to absorb light in exchange of more frames generated & smoother video. So faster shutter speed = darker image.
If I was really really into cameras that much, but I'm not like that. Not sure if that is a global version on the Vivo either, which tend to cost even more. Oneplus held its own so I'd go with it since it's much cheaper, plus for me it works better in the US. It's why I bought the Oneplus 11 over Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, and Google. And the 12 looks like a pretty big step up from my 11, but for about the same price.

Vivo x100 pro plus/x100 ultra will be launch soon, price might be a little higher but it will be a very good camera phone

When you shoot videos make them all the same resolutions and frame rates, like 4k30fps because every phone at night will perform better than 60fps

If I was really really into cameras that much, but I'm not like that. Not sure if that is a global version on the Vivo either, which tend to cost even more. Oneplus held its own so I'd go with it since it's much cheaper, plus for me it works better in the US. It's why I bought the Oneplus 11 over Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, and Google. And the 12 looks like a pretty big step up from my 11, but for about the same price.
