    press G to move , then B to set snap base ! With that move over the second mesh and you can press A to set snap point. If you set two or more snap points and then move the mouse away from the meshes and click you moved your snap base inbetween the two or more snap points !!

    Is there any reason to use this feature over a regular snapping mode? It seems like an extra few steps for no reason, at least for vertex (corner) snapping. The median point snap on an edge is new at least

    Why did not they have this feature on blender 1.0 long time ago?

      lol stuff like this is the reason why im still using 3ds max, blender has so many basic modeling features missing.

    Nice. Can you snap center of cylinder?

    • @CRNTDESIGNERS
      @CRNTDESIGNERS  Год назад +2

      No, to snap centre of cylinder you need to use triangle fan cylinder. So at least you can snap the centre of it's top and bottom face. This tool detect end points of edge and median point of edge. I hope this will help you 👍

    id love to see someone snap the rectangular side of a cylinder (not the circular ends) to a face. i can get snapping to work with everything but that haha.
