Galaxy A71: Forgot Password but Cannot Turn Off to Factory Reset? Bypass Password!

- If you forgot your password, pin code or pattern on a Samsung Galaxy A71 and you are trying to preform a factory reset (hard reset) yet you cannot cause you need to turn off the phone first but it ask for a password that you do not remeember then watch closely. We will bypass this password. Note with a factory reset you will lose all your data, photos, videos etc as if you just bought the phone brand new and took it out of the box. Hope this helps.

I have the A71 and none of the tutorials worked... I came across this one for the A12 and it worked!
It took me 20 or 30 times, but I FINALLY got it. Don't give up. It's all in the timing.

@Jane Taduran, it worked...i don't have laptop so i used type c adapter from my phone to my printer(usb port)...make sure to turn on your printer...i'm sorry if it took too long for me to respond on you....try it too.

@@mehowshorts, I had to bring my phone to a Samsung service, they reset the phone to the fabric settings...lucky that I had some of my photos and materials saved on my google account

First, press the down button and the power button simultaneously (at the same time) until the phone shuts completely off.
Then, hold the volume up button and the power button simultaneously until you come to a black screen with white screen options.
Read the options, click auto factory reset. Once the screen says complete (at the bottom of the screen), then click reboot phone. This should work.

Alright, it took a few hours to actually get it to work. But I never took my finger off the Power/Bixby button but I did move my finger to the volume up before the Samsung logo popped up.

I tried this way a a half dozen times and it didn't work for me. Then I tried another newer video and it worked on the first try

It's basically the same but you have to go volume down+power button until the screen goes black. Then press volume up+power until the Samsung A71 image appears. Then press the volume up till the factory reset works.
This worked on my first try.

Never works for me. My old Samsung J5 has 4 digit pin. Just bought 2nd hand Galaxy A71 and asked for 6 digit pin. Tried resetting mobile (although I thought pin was linked to SIM card not mobile) and just won't work following video above. Guy who sold me mobile on Ebay said it shouldn't need 6 digit pin....

Hello....can you tell me what you did in particular?? I have an A71. I'm locked out due to a pin change, and forgetfulness. I've tried everything....even going to T-Mobile. They couldn't get into it either. I just want to wipe it at this point and have my friggin phone back! I've done exactly what he shows in video, and still nothing! Ugggggh!

I dont know why but this isn't working for me at all. I've tried loads of times and I have even done it along with the video to try to make the timing exact but the phone just turns back on to the normal locked screen, I dont get the menu. Has there been some kind of update or does anyone know a different way of doing this?

You need to do exactly how he says but when pressing the volume up button also press power until you see the logo then Let go of power and only hold the volume up button. Worked first time for me. Good luck. I watched another video.
