I'm trying to get more footage showcasing Phantom, but I won't lie, having tested Phantom so far and a bit last season, the deck doesn't need it, and having to run two extra bricks is not worth it, imo. I drew spirit a lot when I went second, and I rarely made phantom going first because using the throne to search for a combo piece felt better than making phantom, but maybe that's just how I play. So I decided to use two decklists this season, and they'll be shown at the end of the video. One decklist runs Phantom without Baronne, and the other is my last season list. You may also notice that I'm not playing vice typhone. In both lists and in my recent TCG lists, and the reason for that is that I'm trying to get myself used to playing the deck without it. I wouldn't recommend cutting typhone if you are not confident of playing the deck without it. I did miss having typhone a couple of times for the extra push, but playing without it wasn't a major issue for the most part.
@@kevinmorad1277 2 gryphon and 1 orthros is def not fine. you want to open gryphon always (it's the best card in the deck) and you need 2 orthros because you need it vs backrow decks and 1 isn't enough and Beowulf is an okay card.
@@Taro_ESTi agree, Phantom of Yubel feels like a costume made Card. The fact that the contact fusion don t starts a chain and avoids Maxx C is way to Good to be true. GL with your climb Brother 💪🏻 be the D/D/D King we need.
In the last game, against Mekk-Phantom Knights. 1st turn. Why didn't you summon orthos, then Gryphon and go on from there? Why just end your turn? Am I missing something? Couldn't you do that and Link Summon after and go on with Small Ceaser etc?
the guy made me go first. if i made a board, he would have blown it away. if you pay attention to what he played, he opened quite a bit of going second cards.

I think MD meta rn is okay but game needs a shake up banlist to lower Yubel's power a bit.
