DLv MAX Obelisk the Tormentor Deck! - DLv MAX Egyptian God Deck on World Championship Qualifier 2024

- This is my updated Obelisk deck that I used to reach DLv MAX of this World Championship Qualifier 2024. This one relatively has lesser consistency/drawing cards to access Obelisk cards than this one ( • IT'S A GOD! - My most ... ), but I compensate it with more power cards for going 1st and 2nd.

The deck prefers to go 1st and set up Obelisk cards, either for interruptions/prepare for follow up on next turn. Going 2nd is still possible with Soul Crossing to tribute opponent's monsters and summon Obelisk, while Horus cards can special themselves to bait cards/attack.

Playing obelisk with colloseum is like a reference to Kaiba and yugi's duel at battle City, when they quite literally play in a (virtual) colloseum

What would I replace if I want to put a copy of the other gods in there?
Probably cut an obelisk, Keiser, and probably a field spell or a continuous spell cause you dont nessisarily need 3 it wont hurt consistency
I guess you can cut Breaking Ruin God. It doesnt play well with other gods
In my opinion if you want to play Ra you need his support cards but play it by itself and it's more of an OTK machine. But this deck is 🔥. I love seeing my gods destroy

@@LightDragon-DuelEnjoyer9990 Well, the easiest would just to use Master duel tracks in the meantime, they are pretty good after all, then I would try to find songs that fit the theme of the video, like I've seen ppl playing Dark Magician they use Yugi's theme from the anime.
@@UrielManX7 The reason I dont use MD tracks is because people may be bored of them, since they may listen to them when they play. So, I chose Duel Links theme. I usually use Kaiba's Duel Link themes for Blue-Eyes videos. But, it may be boring if I keep using them, so I chose another. I wanted to use God's Anger, but youtube wouldnt allow me to freely use it, so I chose this one.
Anyway, thank you for the input. Will think about using MD tracks in the future.

I wonder how to use the number 97 card effect, I still very confused
Number 97 says: “take 2 dragon xyz monsters from your gy/extra deck, special summon 1 of them and attach the other 1 as material, if you do this you can t special summon monsters or attack with a monsters(excpet the 1 you summon with this effect) for the rest of the turn”.

It's used to cheat out Number 100. You need another number dragon XYZ monster to use its effect tho.

No need of it and it's a ur? Maybe to keep costs down slightly, maybe it's just not needed. Could add to bricking I'm not sure. You could test running it.
These builds are designed to inspire you to craft something yourself. Even if that craft is a small tweak here and there.
