I believe the intent to run a state airline was actually there but they did not get the license in time to launch before the administration ended, hence the photo op with borrowed aircraft. Instead, Tinubu should work on it and get the license and work with private investors in aviation to make this a reality. Nigeria deserves as national carrier to compete healthily with the private ones so that the consumers (Nigerian people) will be spoilt for choice, and afford air travel.
