A perfect combo of romanticism and style! Like a modern day take on 70s Gunne Sax dresses. If this were sold in stores, I would 100% want one.
Thank you so much Dawn!! I was just looking at a 70s Gunne Sax dress that belonged to my aunt! Such lovely styles! ❤️
Looks like it would be a perfect dress for pockets!
Ohhh yes! Next time!
So cute!
Thank you so much!
Bravo! This dress and you are gorgeous!
Hi Lauren. That was so helpful. I am going to make that dress in a challis in rust with ditsy cream flowers. Seeing it made really helps with the instructions. And the Dress is very pretty on you. So feminine I

Thanks!
Love the music !
Thank you!!
Beautiful dress!!
Thank you so much!!!
Ugh watching someone use a serger just gives me that tingly feeling. I wish I had one of my own. It really gives that professional touch!
I didn't have one for a long time, but I love using it so much! Hope you're able to get one sometime!
So pretty! Can't wait for your apron pattern release-- Ive already got my fabric picked out :)
Can't wait to see your version!! ❤️
Have you done a video on your sewing machines?
If NO, can you do a video on your sewing machines. I find it interesting that you used a Kenmore that could 40 plus years old to sew the Tamzin Dress. The older sewing machines are often better than many of the more modern sewing machines.
I need to do a sewing machine video! I totally agree! I love that the older machines are made of metal all the way through so no issues with the pieces from over heating. I have some newer machines that just don't sew as well as the Kenmore!
Stunning dress Lauren! Very inspiring! Putting this pattern on my list!
Thank you so much! It was such a lovely pattern to sew!
I love how this turned out!!! It looks beautiful on you!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much Felicity!
Absolutely beautiful! Turned out so nice! Great job!
Thank you so much Jona!
Your dress is lovely. Having been in my twenties in the 1970's I can assure you we did not wear dresses like that, I would have worn an A line skirt in a dirty flower print with a fitted sweater that fitted the waist or in summer a short T shirt.
Thank you so much! That sounds like an adorable outfit! :)
okay but can we make 70s cottagecore a thing please
Hi Lauren; what pattern is this? I missed it.
What level of proficiency would you say this is? Also, I don't have a serger. How would you recommend to finish seams without one?
Also lovely video! Thank you so much for sharing your sewing knowledge♡ Fledgling seamstress over here 🙋♀️🤦♀️
Thank you so much for watching Ariel! ❤️ I think this pattern is a moderately beginner friendly design because the fit isn't very tricky-- if you are comfortable assembling pattern pieces, I don't think you will find it too challenging at all! I'd recommend using the zigzag setting on your sewing machine to finish the seams! I did this for years, and it works well. Let me know if you decide to give this dress a try!
Haya. Hope all is good with you? WOW, your dress is beautiful, loving all the lace & the sleeve details & also such pretty fabric :) Thanku for sharing. x
Hi there, thank you so much!! Hope all is well with you too! :)
