A perfect combo of romanticism and style! Like a modern day take on 70s Gunne Sax dresses. If this were sold in stores, I would 100% want one.

Ugh watching someone use a serger just gives me that tingly feeling. I wish I had one of my own. It really gives that professional touch!

Have you done a video on your sewing machines?
If NO, can you do a video on your sewing machines. I find it interesting that you used a Kenmore that could 40 plus years old to sew the Tamzin Dress. The older sewing machines are often better than many of the more modern sewing machines.

I need to do a sewing machine video! I totally agree! I love that the older machines are made of metal all the way through so no issues with the pieces from over heating. I have some newer machines that just don't sew as well as the Kenmore!

Your dress is lovely. Having been in my twenties in the 1970's I can assure you we did not wear dresses like that, I would have worn an A line skirt in a dirty flower print with a fitted sweater that fitted the waist or in summer a short T shirt.

What level of proficiency would you say this is? Also, I don't have a serger. How would you recommend to finish seams without one?

Thank you so much for watching Ariel! ❤️ I think this pattern is a moderately beginner friendly design because the fit isn't very tricky-- if you are comfortable assembling pattern pieces, I don't think you will find it too challenging at all! I'd recommend using the zigzag setting on your sewing machine to finish the seams! I did this for years, and it works well. Let me know if you decide to give this dress a try!
