The strategy of doubling your bet ever time you lose and then pocketing one unit each time you win is a perfect strategy if you have an unlimited bankroll and can find a table that has no max bet. You actually can't lose using this strategy. The problem is, I'm not sure if there is a casino out there that doesn't put a max bet on all their tables, for this exact reason.
Hey man martingale works! If you hit max bet then just start working your way back down. But if you start going down then you gotta win 2 because you double after you win. The doubles and blackjacks add up at high level. So if it’s 500 max go 5, 10, 25, 50, 125, 250, 500. If you lose all of them then bet 250 if you win that then bet 500 again to win this bet too. If you don’t win until 125 you gotta win 2 more the 250 and the 500.
Mathematically this is a losing strategy which you basically admit in this video. The cards dont understand "short term" vs "long term" so even playing perfect basic strategy will still result in a long term loss 50.5% of the time. So please no one try to use this strategy as a side hustle or anything more serious than just recreational money you don't care about losing.
You're right but it's even worse than 50.5%, the house edge multiplies on each progression and why every progressive staking plan fails on any negative determination game.
The narrator is a Scam-Artist, Conman, fraudster & crook! It doesn't work! That proves how shallow your knowledge in gambling especially when you splitted or double down! You are an idiot!
Quitting after losing 10 units doesn’t reset the statistics (or your bankroll). You are equally as likely to lose 10 units on your next session. Any Martingale derived strategy would require a massive bankroll to avoid losing everything. It only increases the variance in the short run - you will have bigger swings of both profit and loss so it can initially appear profitable. Over the course and several hours you will lose though - it doesn’t matter one bit how many sessions you break it down into.
lol they dont know u can take 10 loose strike at online casino even startig at 5$ bet, u loose 2560. this method works only with multiple K on bankroll
Been there done that...you can lose 9 or 10 times in a row often enough to burn all and more of your gains...thats why tables have minimum maximum bets which wont permit this sustem...
I like it for casual gambler. But one time through you would be down $70 or 7 units. I am sure anyone doing this would go thorough two losing runs before walking away. $140 or 14 units. I do something similar with 6 bets (25,25,100,250,500,1000). I stop up $225 or more or lose $1900. I win 88/100 which is Nice to walk out of casino up 88% of time. The losses do eventually make me even. Average win is actually $260 because of BJ, double down and splits. 88*260=22880. 12 losses *1900= 22800.
I have been using this system very close to this for the last 4 months every weekday for 1 session and it does actually work. With 8 deck shoes its closer to even, but with a 2 deck shoe this system is strong. I use $25 units and average a positive $800-$1000 per month about 20 session average and of course you lose often but seems to win at an average 2.5-1 ratio. And sometimes if cards are flowing well I’ll stay longer and take bigger profits. If the cards are bad just leave.
I've always been very weary of this system or any variations of it. I've always used basic strategy with a 50% progressive bet increase if I win the bet, half my winning go into a "savings" stack that I leave with if my "playing" money runs out.
I was thinking what if you combine this start with counting cards ? What i mean is start betting when the true count is 2 or higher which means you have 0.5% edge over the casino and if the true count gets worse you just stop betting wait for the true count to go backup and then you double up again. Is this a stupid idea or good idea ?
That's what card counters do. They raise their bet when the running count gets in their favor. And lower it when it's not. But they don't use a progressive betting system.
i usually walk in casinos with $110-$160 i will buy in at like $125 and play the $5 if you have $100 you can try $10 even im tempted to bet $10 when i go
Ive been flat betting all the time. I go with 200$ leave when I’m up around 100-150$ no need to get greedy or lose too much. Play exact basic strategy u might lose sometimes but overall ull win
No overall you will lose. With the best rules blackjack table and playing perfect strategy, the casino has a 0.5% edge… in the long run you will lose money no matter what… The only way to change the odds in your favor is to count cards and to play perfect strategy with deviations… but without that, there is no strategy that will win money in the long run…
Voodoo... You are better off flat betting than any form of Martingale. Either you count cards and base your bets on the TC # which is based on mathmatically proved system of betting or you believe in fantasy (ie.. Martingale). Also, good luck finding ANY casino that offers surrender anymore. Please tell me where these mythical casinos are?
Setting a loss limit is a good idea but with your strategy losing 10 units and stopping doesn’t make sense. If you lose 3 hands your down 7 units and then start over, then you lose 3 hands again your down 14 units. So with your stop loss, you can only lose 3 hands once and then 2 hands the second time.
Alvin Chibaya that’s a good question. If you’re going to Martingale, you have to make sure you have enough units to start at the minimum unit you want to bet and get as close to the table limit as possible. So a $5-500 table you can do 7 bets from $5-320. That’s $635 total, be prepared that you could lose it all, so be ready for that and accept it if you lose, don’t blame the system. With this system in the video if you lose 3 hands you’re down 7 units, so you will still need to win 7 hands to get even. The probability of losing 3 hands in a row is 14.6% or 1 in 6.9 times. Losing 7 hands is 1.1% or 1 in 90 times. How many times have you played and lost 3 hands in a row? I bet a lot, but 7 is rare but WILL happen. I understand this guys bankroll management, but losing 3 hands and then going oh well and trying again but only being able to try twice doesn’t make sense. At 5 bets you will hit your stop loss. If you’re going to bet 5 times you might as well have enough units to double 5 times that way if you win you get all of your money back plus profit. Spend a few weeks and try it for free online. I’ve been using a slightly modified Martingale for 2 years now and yes I have lost a few times and it sucks but I’ve won way more than I’ve lost so it’s been good to me.
Tobias Bent Edelmann Im sorry you feel that way, did you have a bad experience with it? My last 3 sessions playing live in the casino. I’m up 63 units. Tuesday night playing roulette, I won 21 units which is about 10% of my buy in which is my goal.
