LOL. Riley is such an adorable sight in the pool almost completely covered by sunglasses, hat, floaters, bathing suit. Good to see her big smile. Glad to hear you all are rolling with the punches and can get Mimi back to VA with you for the short visit back home. Jackson looks so serious sitting in your lap by the pool. I'd love to have a recording of what his brain is evaluating that gives him such a focused expression. Hallelujah: chicken, steak, PB&J, grilled cheese? Girlfriend is branching out! Remind her she needs all that good energy to keep dancing. LOL. Tell Mimi to get earplugs because a car trip is safer than any common carrier. Too much danger on airplanes and such. Jackson may have plastered himself in his breakfast, but he ate most of it. He's doing well. Lovin' Riley's travellin' shoes. If it keeps him happy, the water on Jackson will dry. Snacks can be saviors on a road trip or a shopping trip. Got such a kick out of Jackson's little smile when Mimi waved at him from the front seat. Riley is staying happily occupied. She's at a good age for workbook types of activities. And Dancing Queen is trying to dance while sitting down in her carseat watching her tablet and waiting for French fries! The legs and feet are in motion. And munchkin man is talking away while trying to get from Mimi to either you or the camera. Riley said she has to go to the bathroom? Is she now potty-training again? Good for her. Jackson's just too young to explain that you are almost home or have so many hours left to go. They need to stretch and exercise their big muscles. I always sat in the backseat with the babies. It does help. They did pretty well this time around. I am pleased you are all home safely and Mimi seemed to survive any babies crying or whining.

Not sure how you feel about Jackson and screen time. But the BabyFirst channel on youtube is a life savor! Anytime I want to sit down and take a breather, I put on BabyFirst. It really helps entertain my 9 month old and he LOVES it. Especially during road trips, it helps keep him entertained and happy for a good while. I highly recommend. It’s a good channel and it is solely based on Baby and development, a lot like Baby Einstein

So I tried the Chai Latte with pumpkin cold foam a few days ago since everyone has been raving about it. Don’t get me wrong it’s tasty... but....does anybody else notice it basically tastes like glorified eggnog? 🧐 Maybe it’s just my taste buds, but it tastes ALOT like eggnog to me lol.

Linda McDaniel I know. But she said they are going back to Miami in a week or so. I assume they are going back to VA bc of work for Joe. I was just wondering Why she/the kids decided to do the long drive back to VA for only a weeks time.
My thoughts also seems like a big waste of money.
Joe had to be back in Virginia for work this week so I took the kids for a lot of reasons. Jackson had a very important doctors apt and I had drs apts too. It was also joe’s birthday so I didn’t want him to spend it alone. It was also great bc my mom was able to watch the kids a ton this week so I could tackle some projects around the house I’ve been wanting to get to. Plus, joe had been away from us already for a week and a half so it was a good little adventure for us :)
Random question: how did you guys come up with the name “Mimi”? My little boy is 8 months old and we don’t know what to call my mom lol :) also, how come you guys didn’t just stay in Miami for the week instead of driving up and down? Maybe i missed it
So random question for you or anyone.. when the weather is bad or cold/rainy.. what do y’all do with your baby’s? Lol I’m struggling bc there is not much to do if we cant go outside and my baby gets really bored. He has 100 toys but it’s not enough 😂 so on these days I just follow him around the house while he plays with random things. Bc he can’t just play in one room all day.. we’ll both go crazy.. so what do you baby mamas do on bad weather days?! I feel like I’m doing something wrong lol

Michelle’s Vlog OMG! That’s so exciting and emotional all at the same time 😭 my little girl is almost 10 months and I already get sad thinking about her first bday!
I totally get having 1,000 toys yet its never enough to keep busy! So one thing I’ve been doing lately is googling DIY sensory activities for 1 year olds. This can switch things up and also be fun for both of you! Its hard with the pandemic too because I’m still nervous to bring her places. I hope these activities help!!
