MIDDLESBROUGH FC V TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC - LEAGUE DIVISION ONE - AYRESOME PARK - 15TH MARCH 1975

Middlesbrough FC beat Tottenham Hotspur FC 3-0 in this League Division One match played at Ayresome Park, Middlesbrough on the 15th March 1975. Graeme Souness scored twice with John Hickton scoring the other goal for Middlesbrough FC. Graeme Souness moved from Middlesbrough FC to Liverpool FC in 1978 where he won five League Championships, three European Cups and four League Cups. At the end of the League Division One season 1974 to 1975 Middlesbrough FC finished in seventh position whilst Tottenham Hotspur FC finished in nineteenth position just missing being relegated.
