- A global IT outage has caused massive disruption to various services today, including airports, banks, businesses and broadcasters. GP surgeries across England were also impacted, the NHS has confirmed.
Microsoft blamed a third party for the disruption and said it was working to restore services. According to IT security firm CrowdStrike, this is not a security incident or a cyber attack.

Companies need to hold to account their management structure. This was an issue waiting to happen, overreliance on cloud computing.
Is it just me, but isn't 'Crowdstrike' the worst sounding name for a company?
It just conjures up all the wrong vibes. Other examples of the names they pulled out of the hat may have been 'Kittensquash' 'Dogkick' 'Civiliansmash' before reluctantly settling with 'Crowdstrike'.
