    I am pretty much an extreme minimalist although my apartment is very small so it looks like i have more than i really do. I also have OCD and clean alot so everything is always meat and tidy. Except.....for the kitty toys. They are the bane of my existence but are totally necessary to keep the fur babies happy.

      😊 Haha we totally understand about the pet toys 🧸 So worth it seeing their happy little faces though 😊 We love the sound of your super neat, clean and tidy home with kittys + their toys roaming around the place 🐈❤

    I've found that I can store all of my lotions, makeup, hair products, brushes and powders in individual small storage crates inside the vanity, for quick & easy retrieval after bathing. The key to less clutter is maintaining the discipline necessary to place the little crates BACK inside the vanity before leaving the bathroom. A clear counter is very soothing.

      That's fantastic you can fit all your beauty things inside your vanity 🤩 Nice! Haha and yes, totally with you about less clutter requiring discipline to put things back 😊 Clear counters are so soothing, we totally agree 💕

    Really enjoy your videos, I am proud of myself for following all these declutterring tips. My husband’ office though looks like a bomb went off but I just close the door so I don’t see it. I am trying very hard to get him to declutter but he never seems to get around to it, oh well 🙄

      We're so happy to hear you're enjoying our videos Kathryn ☺️ ❤ We're proud of you for doing all these decluttering tips already too! 🎉 Nice! Haha and yes, sometimes the 'shut the door' method is the best thing for now 😂 Sending hugs!

    I agree with most of these things but you can pry my magnets from my cold dead hands LOL They are from my own travels, and a (very) few from my grandparents, and my fridge isnt technically in my kitchen (its off my kitchen) so they stay! and they DO bring me joy and I do smile when I see them, every day :P I DO avoid buying duplicates when I visit a place again. I DO have that rule ;)

      LOL we love that! 🥰 Cozy Minimalism is all about keeping those things in life you DO love and make you smile! We're happy your magnets bring you such joy so they definitely stay! 😊 p.s. I'm totally the same about my books haha they bring me such happiness 📚 🥰

      @@minimalistsmanaged I have some books (mostly on a shelf in my guest room) but... not a lot. I find them to be dust collectors and the odds of me re-reading them are probably slim to none. I do buy the odd one here and there but I've mostly gone digital now with them! We all have our 'joy' things that have to stay!

    I love your style and content. Just wondering if all the jumpy edits are because you are trying to save time?

    • @minimalistsmanaged
      @minimalistsmanaged  3 месяца назад +2

      Thanks Heather 🥰 We're glad you're enjoying our videos ☺️ Oh and the fast snappy edits are to cut out all the 'boring bits' like random weird pauses we might make when filming etc 😂 We always gravitate towards watching videos that are a little snappier with loading the value in (when it comes to more educational content) so people's time is valued as much as possible 🥰 So that's what we've tried implementing in our own videos 🥰 Good question! 😊

    Awesome! 2times video. No matter how u straighten things if cluttered it's time to throw it out! I can't save or I bring it out again, also if good will box I never take it to goodwill and end up seeing it and put back in house. So I close eyes and in trash it goesssss.

    I appreciate your video but I have a question maybe two. Where can I put my dirty dishes before I wash them so my small kitchen doesn't look so cluttered. Without a dishwasher I am using 2 valuable counters: 1 for the dirty and 2nd for the clean. Of course I could just wash and dry right away but I dont want to. so there may not be a doable answer for this one.

      That's an excellent question ☺️ The other day I actually saw a 'mini benchtop dishwasher' and thought that was a fantastic idea! One that just needs water added by hand (no plumbing needed) and a little bit of soap could be a good idea. Maybe something like this one? amzn.to/4aHFPy8 The last house Josh and I rented was also very tight on counter space and had no dishwasher and I cook a lot so we nearly got something similar to a mini portable dishwasher. They've certainly got far more options now compared to when we were looking - I even saw one at Aldi the other day! :) It could free up one whole counter (and perhaps even two if you wanted to put it inside a cabinet) :) Hope that helps!

      The best idea is,while you cook, you wash used utencils what you can. Try to push yourself to manage: as soon the pan is free, clean it by hand. The leftovers come off easier right after use. Then put else to fridge and eat your portion. Immediately after meal, make an effort, wash your plate as fast as you can. It is unusual at first, but for 3rd day you will love this system. No dirty dishes exist!❤

      Hiya Cindy ☺️ Making a pantry look neat and tidy can be tricky. We'd suggest using glass jars where possible to store things (and removing excess packaging and labels) to start ☺️ I like stacking the biggest things at the back and the smaller/shifted things in front so I can see and access everything as easy as possible (plus it looks nicer). Hope this helps :) I always find Pinterest a fantastic resource for seeing how others style tricky things like this too 🥰 Best of luck!
