Thank you for mentioning the episode with toothpick head, its one of my favorite Catdog episodes. Also I always thought the ending to the episode "Golden Hydrant" was weird since Catdog and the Greasers get eaten by a crocodile and it turns out the crocodile swallowed the real golden hydrant
The toothpick head episode I find the ending funny because it’s just a guy walking around in CatDog’s house in his underwear getting food out of the fridge. As far as horror parody movies go in old nicktoons. Angry Bevers did it better with Hanna babara like cut outs and the black and white style. Curse of the mummy’s curse. But aside they CatDog was a show I enjoyed watching as a kid even if my stepdad though it was strange but he bought the CatDog cheese nips.
8:14 oh I remember that episode, if for nothing else than the peanut skull. That thing was… “creepy.” 10:43 one might say the whole “end of the world” was a self-fulfilling prophecy, since their panic led to the chaos that occurred.
Well the old cartoons were good, and from what I've been told by my psychology teacher exposing kids to a little fear/horror is actually a good thing for proper development.
I always took umbrage at Dog's behavior in Teeth for Two, he cared more about what he was going to eat next than the fact that it was harming Cat's teeth, which was very selfish. I also ever cared for how Cat was on Rancid's side at first in Escape from the Deep End, caring only about everyone following rules without any care of whether or not the rules were fair. Granted Cat had a change of heart later, but still.
So the teeth episode… Actually if you look back in the series it did hint that what one does affects the other. Like the first episode where dog eats so fast cat gets the hiccups. Dog eating spicy foods and Cat would get heart burn / fire breath. And when you watch the intro Cat licking his fur and Dog coughs up the hair ball So by the time the teeth episode some out we were prepared for this set up.
that gross alien cat wanted to hook up with in the movie. dog had an action figure come to life that was kinda disturbing. i like the one where they got stuck in a rotary or round a bout and thought they were gonna die.
I never liked how dark and cynical the show was, how Cat often got abused for no good reason. The Fire Hydrant episode where their house burns down is basically a Cat torture porn.
hopefully im not too late for you to see this comment, but you should definitely do a video on Mr. Meaty. i know a lot of people got disturbed by it, and my one memory of it from when i was little was part of the unicorn episode. either way, you should definitely put it on the agenda!
DUDE I HATES THAT SHOW 😭 I’ve never been a fan of dolls so that show was one of the worst. Always creeped me out, I got killed by them a few times in dreams when I was younger lol
I never liked how Cat had a crush on Shriek, it felt out of character just to fit with the weird standard of "beat up your lover/crush" trope. It's like how Sarah from Ed Edd n Eddy likes Double D, but abuses him daily! Why would Cat love someone who terrorizes him every day? Also Cat is no saint and is quite cruel, but tbh I find him to be the most tolerable out of the bunch outside of maybe Lola? Because at least Cat suffers consequences for being a jerk, and he has a reason to be, everyone else are just jerkasses FOR no reason in much more unpleasant ways! The Greaser's treatment of him is basically a form of racism, since they are three dogs who rarely beat up dog and in Shriek's case doesn't even attack Dog due to her crush on him! Most characters give him a hard time for the same reason. Most of the time it felt like they just had people be a jerk to Cat because that was the joke, it was very remineisant of Squidward Torture episodes bad in the day. Even Dog is a HUGE jerk to Cat in some episodes! Winslow also sucks, easily the worst character.
I remember the dentist episode but I didn't remember how gruesome the body horror was. 🤢
@DailyDullMemes
I remember that, because it came in like a sucker punch.
Episode with the flea belt was the biggest offender
This show was truly an acid trip before i knew what acid was.
Rewatching this rn smoking just weed is wild 😂
My favorite thing to do is to get baked and watch these old cartoons lol
do you think the show creator was on drug? I think he was on LSD or something...
I never saw the body horror episode, and wouldn't have believed it if i didn't see the clips. I have regrets now though, lol.
I actually liked those dark, edgy episodes as a child.
Then you should check yourself
This green rabit is till this day disturbing
Here are a few shows you should do next:
* Ren and Stimpy (1991-1996)
* Arthur (1996-2022)
* My Life as a Teenage Robot (2003-2009)

Wha about that episodes where Cat/Dog were splitting everything in their house? They went so crazy there...
I recently saw CatDogula. It's a Halloween 🎃 classic.

The Teeth for Two episode didn’t scare me i thought it was awesome it just goes to show that Nickelodeon wasn’t afraid of going dark and graphic
The last episode you show us I can relate to that episode because I've been suffering, punish and obeying the rules at home 💯
I remember absolutely LOVING "Catdogula"!!! It was my favorite episode!!
This guy sounds…familiar…

I remember it. Btw, I think Squidward and Cat need to get together for a couple of beers lol.
I remember the CatDogula episode very clearly. 😱 One of my favorites.
yes joe keep on destroying my childhood more😂
Smarter than the average dog scared me! It was basically about lobotomy
It still bothers me the fact that, cat would have a crush on a girl who beats on him every day.
he did?
Yeah.
The Human Centipede of Nicktoons.
Catdog was my favorite show, besides powerpuff girls and courage the cowardly dog ❤️. And your channel is great 😊

Another great job 🤙
Thanks for watching! 🙏

This guy clearly didn’t grow up with siblings
@CommanderShepard-wq3wo
Yeah being a middle child of three I can attest that not all sibling relationships are peaches and cream and pie in the sky.
dog had a big breakdown in the meat episode
Oh hell yeah I love catdog
I never liked how dark and cynical the show was, how Cat often got abused for no good reason.
The Fire Hydrant episode where their house burns down is basically a Cat torture porn.
Rewatching this show as adult I can’t stand it
I respect your opinion on catdog (I love it very much)
I always skip Teeth For Two.
I never watched CatDog. I was born in 99
I was never allowed to watch CN or Nick or Disney channel as a kid, these videos make me glad I didn’t 😅 seems unhinged..
They definitely could be pretty unhinged at times lol
more videos NEOW
When did dis become a channel😭
Last month?
@@JoeRuffler oh didn’t know about dis channel have to binge the videos
It seems like the problems are Dogs fault
I’m from the uk and remember watching this as a kid I never really liked it
hopefully im not too late for you to see this comment, but you should definitely do a video on Mr. Meaty. i know a lot of people got disturbed by it, and my one memory of it from when i was little was part of the unicorn episode.

I guess you’re really going to hate Courage the Cowardly Dog then.
