Liberty is a very military-friendly school and gives veterans a big discount. I'm in a PhD program and it has been a good experience.
Awesome! Liberty is a great school :)
I completed an IDS degree in 2012 from Liberty. All I had to take at the time were 3 religion courses (Biblit, Worldviews and Christian thought), 5 upper-level business courses and 2 upper-level electives. I'm a Navy vet so my tuition was $250 per hour, so my degree cost $7,500 and it took me 1-year.
THAT'S AWESOME! Great work!!!
That’s so good!!
Where have you been all of my life! I really needed this!
SOOOOO happy to help.
Wow!! I’m so glad I found your channel. Tyfs! 🙏🏽 *SUBSCRIBED* 🙌🏽👍🏽
Awesome! Welcome, Future College Hacker!
I'm going to you for my consultation I'm happy I found your channel God bless you
Looking forward to doing it if we haven't already! :)
Great information 👍🏾
Glad it was helpful!
Dr Stumme lays down facts!!! I did my LUO INDS undergrad in less than a year for about $12,800 doing same synopsis he details in 2020. My kid is doing Liberty Residential INDS for additional cost, but with her academic and legacy scholarships, price is about the same. She will have an undergrad at 19 years old in less than a year next spring. Dr Stumme was both our professors and we miss him at LU. Consistency is key. Many blessings.
Wow! Thanks so much for the kind words! You and your kiddo are an inspiration! If you wanna send me an email at clifford@collegehacked.com, I'd love to hear how you knocked out your degree!
How long did it take you to complete a class?
Thank you , this save a lot of $ and time .
You're welcome! Best of luck!
Can you do an evaluation on Masters in HRM for Liberty ?
Can I give my transcript with units I took here in California. At the time I went to College of Alameda and all classes I took were either Cal State or If Berkeley. ( all credits University level. I graduated Thi Beta Kappa with 4.0 grade point average. Total of 90+ units. Do you happen to know how these credits can get me my BA in Sociology and Psycholgy.?
Don't forget about military credit. For example, the Community College of the Air Force.
I have an A.A (67 total credits)and want to take the Interdisciplinary studies at LU online but I'm not sure what all I can take on Sophia or Straighterline to accelerate getting a bachelor's and doing it the cheapest way. Will their ICE exams go toward LUs required 30 credits? What do you suggest?
Their ICE exams don't go towards the 30 credits. You can finish most of the degree with Sophia and StraighterLine. You can figure it out yourself too, but I'm also happy to help you build a plan: "course-by-course" consultation on www.collegehacked.com will get you there!
So I’m graduating in May for under 13k and it took three semesters to get my BS Information Technology. Thanks for this video!!
Amazing work! Congrats!!!
I would love to know how as in interested in BS Information Technology. I'd guess using the same principles used in this video?
thanks
OMG, XD. I had no idea the FEMA credits I took would apply. lmao, like, I guess im glad i did them. got like 2-3 credit hours knocked out from it I guess.
Great info, do you know if Arizona state degree plans can be hacked in a year as well?
Unfortunately ASU doesn’t accept ACE credits 😞 So we don’t do too much with them.
Can you one video with the same strategy for a master degree for liberty University?
Good idea! We’ll discuss adding grad program content in the near future 😎
I already have A.S in Business 60 credits and just got accepted to Liberty Online.. do you think I can finish my bachelor's by next May? If so can you help me map it out? BTW i have no clep, Sophia or strait courses
I think so, yeah! You'll be busy, but it will be very possible. If you want to map it out together, sign up for the course-by-course consultation on my website: www.collegehacked.com.
Im getting worn out trying to figure out the best way. I did the Associates through Sophia and other resources but BA seems harder to obtain based on my needs.
If it feels hard because of the equivalency mapping, we can take that off your plate so that you’re just focused on the coursework :) Drill down on what is holding you back and figure out if you can either outsource that part, or what tools you’re missing that you need.
what's the best hack for online college taking business MNGMT classes using Sophia, straighline or other alternatives.
Study.com might serve you the best here. They have a lot of business courses.
Do you have to complete the GE credits before applying to LU? Or we can do it at the same time, then transfer them during school?
I believe you can do it at the same time (not sure), but I'd recommend doing 90% of them before.
@@CollegeHacked I need your help how do I contact you?
@@rashodcrockett8081 Just send me an email at clifford@collegehacked.com or set up a consultation at collegehacked.com
How do you know that after a certain number of credits transferred one does not have to take those blackened courses?
That policy is written on their degree completion plans 👌🏼
I'm looking at Liberty University as an option but as I was reading the website I noticed that under their tuition table it states that as of the Spring of '22 students will pay a flat rate of $1,200 per credit hour whether your full-time or part-time. Am I reading that right? If so that's an incredibly high cost for credits and they would not be an option for me.
Yeah, I really don't think that's accurate. I looked it up, and that's for doctoral medical courses, not undergraduate courses.
You’re looking at wrong table
Hey, awesome info! Is there a way to hack a LUO Master's degree such as Clinical Mental Health Counseling for example? I was wondering about this as there is little to no info about this...
The most you can hack of a master's degree is about 25% and only really if you have experience in the field.
@@CollegeHacked How would you use experience? I have about 1 year of working in a clinic as a case manager
@@alexter001122 You can check out this page. It has options where you can apply to get your experience assessed to see if you qualify for credit: www.liberty.edu/online/credit-experience-by-portfolio/
@@CollegeHacked Unfortunately my program is listed as ineligible, but thank you regardless for showing this option. I will let my friend know who is about to start an eligible program.
@@alexter001122 Ah, man. Sorry about that!
Do you also do consultations for graduate school at liberty university?
Not typically, but I'm happy to do a one off. It's hard to hack, and few of their degrees allow it, but if you email me at clifford@collegehacked.com, we can try to set something up and see what's possible.
How about their diploma is it international i means can use it abroad. Is it valid in different countrys ?
That is completely up to the country and the college/company you want to take this degree to.
I’m not seeing an a equivalency for acct 212 anywhere anymore.
Classes are constantly changing, especially as hacking picks up. Definitely possible it’s not an option anymore! Been seeing more of that this fall, as schools update their academic policies.
Are the exams/quizzes/finals proctored? Somebody told me they weren’t, which seemed odd to me.
Normally, they aren't. I agree with you that it seems odd, but most of the tests are open book even. I think it's more about being able to find the information than memorizing.
@@CollegeHacked oh, understood! Do you recommend Liberty online to somebody in the military?
Definitely. Lots of these online schools cater to military folks, but LUO does it more than any other I've ever seen besides maybe University of Phoenix, but they're a for-profit, so LUO is the top on the list of military-friendly schools that I know of.
@@maritzaduarte4195 tuition costs can be nearly halved if you're in the military
Hello which exams aren't proctored?
Can I take these Sophie courses while already enrolled and taking classes at liberty?
Indeed!
Can you do the same for a associates ?
Yep!
That’s awesome, how do I contact you?
Just go to this webpage! www.collegehacked.com/
Does this also work for graduate degrees in Business?
There can be some hacking at the graduate level, but there are no Sophia.org type platforms for grad credit. It’s based on life experience.
Just to make sure I understood right. You can use Sophia, straightingline and clep, you don’t need to pick just one of them right?
Correct!
Are you talking about liberty University in Virginia?
Yep!
Can we complete a Masters Degree in 6 months at Liberty University Online?
I believe the answer to this is no. I haven’t looked at every degree completion plan they offer, but the MBA is typically the fastest MS at most schools and their basic one is 36 credits. Since it’s not a competency based school you are capped on how many classes you can take at one time. To finish in a year you’d need to take 2 classes every 8-week sub term, and that’s already a class beyond what they consider full time (9 credit hours) in a semester (which contains two 8-week terms). I think to do it faster you’d need the registrar to approve a waiver to take more classes at a time.
Now, if you brought in portfolio credit (they have a good system for this at LUO) to reduce the total number of classes needed, it’s probably doable. :)
Thank you for the information! I’m looking to apply this year. Are the free electives different from this:
“Approved General Education Courses for Online Programs”
Or can you take from other courses, let’s say:
CHMN 501
NBST 620
Or an internship ( max of 6 hours )
Yes, free electives and general education requirements are two different sections in a bachelors degree :)
Hi, I'm an adult English learner, I have 3 years degree from my home country.
I am actually taking classes at a technical college before transfer to WGU. If I transfer to WGU,I can finish this year. My communication skills suck, my question is Does Sophia's English composition I and communication courses will teach me as good as my technical college classes?
Great question, Kin! I believe Sophia will teach you as well as your tech college courses, but I do think you might miss out on the help a professor can give you to improve and get feedback. English Composition is one of those courses that I usually recommend for someone to actually take if they are not a very strong writer, but that is your call! Good luck!
@@CollegeHacked Thank you.
I will take it from my tech college.
I do not agree that LUO is transfer friendly. There is no possibility to take CSIS 110 and CSIS 111 outside LUO (I wanted to take these 2 courses in Sophia or Study, but I was told this is not possible when these course are part of gen. ed. or major. - I want an educational degree). That is a pity!
Virtually any school is going to require that you take at least 10 classes or 30 credits through them in order to graduate :) And nearly every degree is going to contain classes the school doesn’t accept a hacking class for, this is very normal and doesn’t mean LUO isn’t transfer friendly.
How can I schedule a consultation?
Right here: www.collegehacked.com :)
I need your advice
Zak
Hey, Zak! I'm happy to help! Any questions now? You can also sign up for a consult, and we'll take you through the entire process: www.collegehacked.com.
international students are eligible for this tooo ???
At LUO, yes!
How about a degree in aviation?
Liberty has a great one, yes :)
Can we complete physics undergraduate in one year ?
Unfortunately not, because of the residential requirements and the prerequisite chain involved.
Do companies respect degrees from Lu?
Some do, some don’t. But it’s a non-profit and regionally accredited school, and as long as they have the other accreditation for specific programs, it is an okay school.
I’m not Christian, so that aspect was a bit annoying for me. But the cost was great for me. I earned my Masters degree at Liberty with no debt and have been admitted for my PhD program. I work in consulting and earn a decent salary, no one really asks about my degree after the interview
Aloha Azzie says it well, but, yeah, an LUO degree shouldn't give you any trouble unless you apply for a job with a satanist church or a very liberal organization. :)
Whats a clep
College Level Examination Program 😄
Wow I need you to make me a plan…
Let's do it! collegehacked.com :)
I want to do BS in 6 month.
You will be a very busy person. But it's very possible. I'd be happy to consult on that, but you might also be able to figure it out for yourself.
Are the proctors Americans? WGU uses India proctors. And taking a test with them sucks! You can't understand what the are saying half of the time.
LUO doesn't really do proctors as far as I know. Most of the tests I know with them are all open book.
@@CollegeHacked thanks

One of the easiest for sure! Interdisciplinary Studies, Liberal Studies, General Studies, etc. degrees are usually a little easier even.
@@CollegeHacked I may hack a Liberal Studies degree once I am done with my MBA program
@@CollegeHacked I completed a multidisciplinary studies degree in 2012 with Liberty. I had a ton of technical and military credits. I took 30-hours in 1 calendar year to finish my bachelor degree. I used my GI Bill so tuition was $250 per hour. They also gave me a $100 book voucher per class. I basically bought my textbooks on Amazon. I used the voucher with their book vendor to buy a couple of books that I flipped on Amazon.
