@@AdelaideWoman Thank you. You may not have humming birds but you have Cockatoos and other cool birds and kangaroos. I took a trip to Australia many years ago and enjoyed it very much.
@@AdelaideWoman Sydney, Melbourne and Alice Springs. Helicopter rides at Ayer’s Rock area and Sydney. We went to some coastal area to watch the penguins come to shore at dusk. It was December 2001. Strange to have Christmas during your summer.
I just added a hummingbird garden to my yard too. 🏜 (e-side Tucson) I can't i.d. the ones that hv the single-then double, chirp. 🎶 Doesn't match the coloration of Anna, Broadbilled, black chin, etc. Any ideas?
It hasn't happened this summer but last summer there was a hummer that would drink while I was putting it out!! I'd have to stop and just hold the feeder 😂

Watch out for the Rufous Hummingbird….they can be aggressive and they’re very territorial. Use eye protection.
I used the Merlin Bird Id app to see what those look like. Don't think I've seen any. I'll have to keep my sunglasses on when I'm close up.

They are more attracted to this feeder than the other flat round style that I had.
