      Federer literally plays like a Balerrina dancer. So elegant and graceful.

    Federer's 2011 ending was the setup for a very good 1st half of 2012 .
    Starting from 2011 October, Federer won Basel, Paris, Tour Finals, Dubai, Rotterdam, Indian Wells, Blue Court Madrid, Wimbledon, Olympic silver, Cincinnati.
    One of the best phases of Federer in the 2010s.
    2012 was the last leap year 😥 when Federer played a full season .

    If you observe the way he plays , he hits it with such variety . The new generation doesn't seem to have a lot of different shots like he had , they just hit it hard all the time with topspin. It is not always about the brute force or sheer speed , Roger had all these and also unbelievable shot selection. Also , the fact that he never had any major injuries during his career and has seldom retired from a game is a testament to his legacy and playstyle

    Man, I miss the Fed. There's no one who plays like him, no one at all. That attacking forehand, that sublime BH slice, that quick one-two step to put away a volley, those angles when he was feeling especially good, the near-sacred silence of his movement and overall game - basically, that _all-court_ game, imbued with unprecendented kinaesthetic style. There's no one who plays an all-court game today (forget about playing it beautifully) and tennis is poorer for that.
    P.S: Fed was one point away from the Roma and two points (?) away from winning Monte Carlo. The "Golden Masters" would have been his _way_ before it was the Djoker's...if Fed hadn't been the alchemist he is and transmuted victory into defeat. 🙄

    Such a pity that he missed this tournament so many times. From 2004-2006 (arguably his three greatest seasons ever), he either skipped Paris-Bercy so he could play his home tournament Basel like in '06 or was forced to skip it due to injury like in '04 and '05. He also had to withdraw from Bercy in 2008 due to his back injury. Imagine how many more indoor titles he would have if he played Bercy and Madrid indoors those years.

    Nick kyrgios came to play tennis around year 2014-15, when fed was already around 34 years of age. He says after getting defeated by djoko (in Wimbledon final of 2022)in the post match interview that playing Nadal & djoko is easy and they win as they play slightly better whereas Federer will make the opponent feel very bad and will win by a wide margin making the opponent feel like an ordinary club player. He is saying this seeing the game of around a 34 year old Roger federer. Imagine what he would say a peak, prime most talented player of age around 21-25'years old ( year 2002 to year 2007)

    Didn't drop a set. The goat. Had he changed his racquet around this time, add like 5-7 more slams to his count, maybe more. He finally mastered it in 2017 and then started to slow down just a bit. Still the greatest to ever touch a racquet and the most exciting.

Roger on his best day vs Novak on his best day is a blow out. Go watch the best version of Novak at the 2011 French and see what happened. Lol. Novak will always be a bitch with a boring ass game. @@throwinfitz1144 remind me what is federers head to head against Nadal? Nadal was dominating peak Federer while he was only a teenager. And you mention federers racket change. I can easily say "oh if Nadal didnt get injured that often and didnt miss all these slams and big tournaments he couldve won double the amount". But a legend once said "if if if doesnt exist". I'm a Rafa fan btw but I also love fed. He will always be the king of tennis but I'm not delusional. Djokovic will definitely end as the GOAT. You could argue that he is the GOAT already but I feel like Nadal just edges ahead with that one extra slam and the Olympic gold medals. Stop living in 2008. Federer got overtaken by both of them

    • @throwinfitz1144
      @throwinfitz1144 Год назад +1

      @@bowiththeflow7123 Remind me again how many finals Rafa went to outside of the French, where Roger saw him 4 times and once in the semis. Rafa didn't go to Wimby, US Open and Aussie finals regularly. He is average compared to Roger and Novak on those surfaces. Once Roger figured Rafa out and got the bigger racquet, Rafa didn't pose any threat. You're the delusional one. He went 1-7 against Roger in their last 8, the only win being during a tornado at the French, and 4 of those were straight set matches in about an hour. Once the backhand didn't break down on the Rafa forehand, Rafa had no weapons to beat Roger. These are facts, go and check the stats. It's funny how you losers were saying Rafa and Novak are better than Roger when Roger was the slam king, but not your entire arguments are based on the slam count. Roger is 5 and 6 years older, didn't make the racquet change like Rafa and Novak did, was always cheated against, and those two grew up knowing they had to mold their game around beating him. That is why Toni invented that ridiculous Rafa forehand to attack the one hander of Roger, but once he started taking it on the rise with the bigger racquet, Rafa could not beat him. Again, go look at the stats since the change, while Roger was still 5 years older than him. Novak is a self proclaimed cheater and abuser of the rules. Rafa is the weakest of the three. Roger will always be the goat in my opinion, and if you think someone is being delusional for thinking that, you're an idiot. Good day.
