@@keepfitcop1713 It depends on the thickness of the plaster and the nature of the wall. Smooth walls and rough wall plastering differ in thickness.

Great video and explain action teacher. Really help me a lot. My main curiosity is. If we don't use the 3 hole on plug socket cooker, what the main point manufacturers they put them in the socket cooker? Since the video is showing the oven wire go direct to the socket connector,
Wire,
Incoming -> socket cooker -> cooker connector -> wire oven.
Turn down the big toggle & done power up.
So we don't need to use the 3 hole plug on the socket cooker.
My big why is, manufacture is giving the 3 hole for plug point on the socket cooker. What the point they put them when lastly we don't use it? Or maybe they giving 2 options for fitting?
1st. Using your method on your video.
Or
2nd. Just fitting the wire from incoming to "IN" hole only on the socket cooker? Hole out just leave it.

The cooker control Unit switch got 2 gangs, the big one is for the electric cooker oven and the rating is 45A and MUST be connected with cooker connector while the small gang is for Socket outlet where you're required to use it for electric appliances like electric kettle, blender etc. the rating for the socket outlet is 13A.

Does the cooker socket come with its connector or they are bought independently?
You purchase them separately.
Why use a cooker switch? The switch will remain on 100% of the time.
Isn't it enough to switch off the MCB (mini circuit breaker) ?

What's the standard height for the cooker socket?, Thanks
The height for the Cooker unit switch should be mounted at a minimum height of 4fts and the cooker connector at a minimum height of 45cm from the floor. in most cases, it is mounted on 4fts and 50cm respectively before tiling of the floor.
